On July 6, Drew completed two years and seven days of treatment with his final lumbar puncture and bone marrow biopsy. With praise and thanksgiving, we can share his bone marrow showed no signs of leukemia!

We are so grateful to all of you for your prayers, texts, cards, and support. We were blessed with fantastic teams at MUSC and Prisma Pediatric Hematology Oncology inpatient/clinic and PICU who were not only caregivers but friends. Faith in God’s healing mercies carried Drew and our family through this season of his life. 

In May, Drew adopted a golden retriever puppy named Miller. In June, he accepted an audit staff position with RSM, an international public accounting firm. Saturday, Drew and Miller moved into an apartment in Charlotte to get settled before Drew starts work in late August. 

He will continue to take oral chemotherapy for the next 5 years with monthly blood checks. We appreciate your continued prayers for his healing as he starts this new chapter.
