Journal entry by Kim Bianchi —
Good morning,
This has been difficult to post🥲
Some already know from Social Media, but I wanted to close the chapter here on Doug’s Caringbridge Journey. He started posting here March of 2022 with a warrior spirit and a determination to not let this ugly growth beat him.
Unfortunately it did.
September 15th around 5:30 Doug “Snuck Out”.
I had just had 10 minutes of alone time with him to let him know how much I loved him, and was thankful to be his wife. I whispered in his ear that it’s OK to go. Northey 🐶 and I got this! I left to go put some warmer clothes on, and when I came back, he was gone.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers and encouraging words❤️🙏
