Hi Kim
Was thinking of a painting of mine that Doug bought many years ago, so wanted to know if he still had it. Sadly, I discovered his passing. I’m so sorry…you’ve lost beautiful, Doug. ♥️ The painting he got from me was a bear standing on a rock bluff, looking up a tree. You have my sincere condolences. I worked with Doug around 1982-3. As you know, Doug was a fine individual. My heart goes out to you. Ellie (EJ ).

Thank you, Kim for letting my wife and I come and visit Doug and your family in August. My heart goes out to you and you were right when you told me it was okay to cry. I enjoyed working with Doug in the wsdot days and I respected him very much, he will always be in my memories and will be missed.

Kim,
There's not a soul on this earth who will ever fully understand what you've been through or the feelings you'll carry inside you for the rest of your life. You are however deeply Loved by thousands of us, and we all cry together in the loss of your beautiful Dougie. He will always be surrounding you in spirit and speaking with you until the day you are reunited. Again, we are all so very sorry for your loss Kim. May God bless you and bring you peace. Joe

Thank you God for healing our brother Doug! While the timing and location were not what we had hoped for, we know Doug is more alive now than any of us he has left behind. Thank you Kim for sharing Doug with us through this very personal and painful season of your lives! Your strength through this ordeal was truly inspirational to everyone. You and your family will continue to be in our prayers as you chart a new course in your life without your wingman and best friend. We look forward to seeing Doug again at his new residence which I’m guessing might include a few grapevines. May God’s perfect peace surround you as you continue to lean on Him.
Ross and Annette

Thank you Kim for the update. ❤️ I’m sure it wasn’t easy. He was such a fighter… he did fight for a long time and it sure didn’t sound easy- for either of you.
I’m so sorry to hear this sad news…. As I mentioned to you before, you’ve got my number and please reach out anytime if you want to talk or text …. Or take a South Carolina getaway… XO

I have not stopped thinking about you Kim. Doug brought so much joy to so many. He made us all feel loved and special whenever we were with him. His love for you was easy to see. He looked at you each time like it was the first time he was falling in love. I remember him holding you at the Quincy Winery while you guys danced the night away. What a fun night that was. The Bianchi Winery has brought such great joy to so many. Doug will be so missed but you have so many friends who are here for you! What a wonderful band up in heaven to greet Doug! Love ya both ! Ohhh Kim. The 15th was 17 years to the day since I lost John. Hang in there and may your memories and your faith in Resurrection Morning sustain you and give you strength. It's a rough road, but the Lord will see you through.
