Dick passed away peacefully this afternoon at 4:15.  Diane and Andrea were able to be with him.  We were with him for several hours and the doctors had let us know he would not improve.  We had just made the difficult decision to turn off the ventilator.  We went back into the room,  and a few minutes later his heart stopped.  He knew Diane was struggling to make that decision and so he did that for her.  We will miss him so much.  We will miss him telling the same stories we’ve heard a hundred times before, but we know he is with Sean, sharing some Jack Daniels.  Until we meet again.
