So honored that God gave us the gift of friendship with this extraordinary man.
He showed his love for Jesus with tangible acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, compassion, encouragement, and love to his family, friends, and community in countless ways over his lifetime. Even during his last moments, he left the earth giving a gift of comfort and peace to those he held most dear. He leaves a legacy that impacted so many lives in a tremendously positive way.
He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Fryrear family. Dale and I have only been friends with Dick and Diane for about 10 years, but we too enjoyed Dicks stories. We will really miss him and his happy face. Our hearts are breaking for Diane. Hugs to all.

My siblings and I were the youngest Fryrear family and quite a few years younger than our cousins. Dick was the closest to.me in age. I idolized him. Always smiling, great sense of humor, popular, good student and athlete. In my mind, I've been at the Melvin Fryrear house for days... Praying for comfort for Diane and family. We love you

Oh , our hearts are breaking! Aunt Diane, you both took our family to a higher level with everything you did. You take care of everyone with the greatest love and support, not only family, but friends, neighbors, and community. I hope you receive all of that back at this incredibly sad time.
