We hope everyone had a happy holidays and a great new year so far!! There has not been too much to update recently.
Today is day 52 post stem cell transplant. 48 days to go until the exciting day 100 mark 🎉
This is the “big appointment” when she should be cleared to be back in public spaces and back to a semi-normal routine. Then she can begin all immunizations that will be needed moving forward.
She did have a doctors appointment yesterday with the oncologist. Her numbers are not where they should be yet, which is also expected at this point.
After Christmas she went back to her house and actually began working remote part time yesterday. (She argued with the doctors to go back to work early to keep busy and get her brain going). She still hasn’t been officially cleared to drive —although the doctor said short distances for pick up orders are fine if she feels up to it.
