Hello Friends and Family. Quite a bit has happened since my last entry months ago. I've had 3 rounds of radiation treatment to try to reduce the tumor stuck in my ribs. They have been hurting a lot since September. That did not help. Last week I had a chest CT scan and today I met with my oncologist Dr Bhatia for the results. Mostly good and familiar news. The two main left tumors are basically unchanged from the last almost 4 years. However, the smaller one, not stuck in the ribs, grew about 3 mm. Nothing to freak out about.
On the non cancer front there's a repeat of previous posts. My feet and legs still hurt most of the time. I also saw my foot doctor today. She cut and grinded thick uncomfortable calluses. These are caused by neuropathy-that's also what's hurting my legs. This is a side effect of one of my chemo medicines.
In 4 months I'll have another CT scan and a brain MRI. I have a lot of bad headaches. Thank you all for staying tuned to this very long soap opera.
