Journal entry by David Mann —
Hello all.
It’s been a bit since I’ve posted. I will try to keep you more updated.
Today treatment will be the end of week 2.
Having slightly more side effects as we go.
Most foods have little of bad taste. Dry mouth is a real thing. My saliva feels like Elmer’s glue. Megan has been amazing at finding and ordering different things that might help. They tell us that a lot of it is trial and error. Everyone is a little different. The big one is feeling tired. Starting to get worn out quickly.
But the good news is I do not have much of a sore throat yet. I’ll take as a win. I just kinda feel slow.
I hope all of you are doing well.
Many of us found out some very bad news .
We lost a good man to mental illness and addiction yesterday. Today I carry a heavy heart knowing that many of us tried to help. But the disease was stronger.
Love your loved ones.
Love you all
Dave
