Quick Update on Dave
Earlier this week, on Monday Dave had his 3rd chemo treatment. He was not feeling too good after that, but today he seems to be feeling a lot better. He has been experiencing neuropathy in his fingers. Dave says when he wakes up his fingers are very tingly and cold, he has found that doing the dishes in warm water helps a lot. So that is a new routine for him in the morning. He also keeps a pair of gloves by the fridge, he can then take out milk or whatever he needs then let it sit at room temp for a bit.
Tomorrow Dave will have a PET scan to see what progress has been made with the chemo. Sounds like we will know the readings early next week. Once his Dr can see the results he may recommend proceeding with radiation…. Dave is hopeful that the results show improvement, he wants to continue fighting. He Says he has too much he still wants to do, and that he plans to be here for many years to come. I’m thankful he is keeping a positive attitude in the midst of all of this. He truly is a fighter!
Thank you again for your prayers and support through this journey. I will post another update after the results of the PET scan next week.
