I look forward to seeing many of you tonight.  Just wanted to share a few details.

Parking:  The church does not have it's own parking lot, parking is on the street, so I encourage you to carpool if possible.  

Sharing:  The main piece of the celebration will be time to share stories.  I hope that you'll stand up at the microphone and share, but if you aren't comfortable with that, there will be paper available to write a story and leave it in a box.  I know I will enjoy reading them and cherish them.

Food:  All are invited and encouraged to stay after the service and enjoy a great meal catered by Amici Ristorante.  We'll have meatballs, tortellini, rice balls, cheese, fruit, wraps, and crab stuffed mushrooms and desserts generously provided by the church deacons.  

We invite you to celebrate Dave's life this Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 6:00pm at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, 875 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222.  This will be an opportunity to worship God in song and word and share stories of Dave's life and then enjoy food afterwards.  Dave and I talked a lot about what he wanted his service to be like and the most important thing to him was that there be a time for people to get up at a microphone and share memories.  So, come prepared to share if you so choose.  As you may know, Dave wasn't much for dressing up, so come as you are, if you feel more comfortable dressing up, do it, if not, come casual, just come in respect.  (I'm sure he's appreciate some cargo pants!)
