Good morning! Dale had his 4th round of chemo yesterday and everything went smoothly. It takes about 6 hours for them to administer all the drugs but the center does a great job of making their patients comfortable. Today we’ll just take it easy as he has a pod (body injector) that is attached to his stomach. It will self administer the Neulasta shot at about 4:00 today and then we can remove it at about 5:00. This saves us a return trip to the clinic for the nurses to give him the shot.
The next couple of weeks look pretty quiet. Dale has his PET scan scheduled for May 29th. We don’t know how quickly we’ll get results back but fingers crossed it will only be positive news. Take care everyone. Thank you for your continued support and prayers!
