Hello loves!!  Hope you are all doing well!!  💗 We hope that the holidays were good to you and we hope the coming year is better than the last.

After speaking with my Oncologist and Surgeon Wednesday, I have chosen to have a bilateral mastectomy, and Lyle is supporting this decision completely. At this time, I’m not considering reconstruction.  This may change at some later date but for now we are happy with our decision.  Surgery is scheduled for 2/4 and I'll be in the hospital a day or two depending on how I do.

Lyle as many of you know is the most amazing person. He has given me the utmost care....  and continues to show me great patience even when I have not returned the favor.  He is such a blessing to me and deserves recognition for all he has done and continues to do.  Our love has continued to grow through this challenging time and I am so grateful for him.

The Issaquah Highlands Director, Board, office and council have taken such amazing care of us.  They have continued to support us through this journey and have allowed Lyle to be with me through each and every step.

Thank you for being on this journey with me and my family!!!   I cannot express how much you have all blessed us with your love and grace.  Thank you for the hats, cards, gifts and food!!   Every step we take down this road gets us closer to the finish line.
