You should’ve been here today mom, but I know you were. You had the best seat in the Runestone Community Center. Trevin and Danny both graduated today from Alexandria Technical and Community College. As we sat there in the bleachers I couldn’t help but think that you would have been there cheering for both of them as they got their diplomas. It just wasn’t the same without you at this milestone event. I kept my promise that I made to you, and will continue it as the next grandkids reach their milestones too. I just wish you were here. As I write this I stopped by your house. It’s almost empty, it’s so sad. It used to be so full of you everywhere we looked. Now it’s just empty. I miss you every day and today I missed you being here with us. I know in my heart you were here but I wish I could hear your voice and get a hug from you.  Love you Mom!
