Hi All,

I want to express personally how much I appreciate and was picked up by your prayers and well-wishes. This past week has been an incredible journey for both me and Bill. He is the real story here. Even before the transplant he went through many rounds of testing, poking and scanning, much of which required travel from his home in Chicago. And then to lay down and make the sacrifice, the gift of life...it's hard for me to fully process the love and selflessness that requires. Now we are both recovering, moving a bit slow but making progress every day. I'm thrilled to report that my kidney numbers are GREAT! What a blessing to feel energy and health returning, and to feel optimistic about the future. 
From here it's recovery mode. I am so thankful for my family and friends, and grateful of the care you showed for both me and Bill (and our families) these last several days.
