Rubbelke, Carol Ann (nee McCourtney) 

Age 78, of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully in her family home after a long journey with dementia, on March 26, 2023, surrounded by her family. 

Proceeded in death by parents Raymond and Rosemarie (Faricy) McCourtney; sister Mary Rose (Jim) Kordosky; granddaughter Brianna Rubbelke.

Survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom Rubbelke; children Joe (Kay), Lisa Leitner (Jim), Tom (Molly); and grandchildren Seth, Kylla, Kinni and Danika Rubbelke, Laynie and Max Leitner, Jake and Maddy Rubbelke and brother Chip (Deb) McCourtney.

Born in St. Paul, Carol proudly attended Nativity of Our Lord grade school and St. Joe’s Academy (‘63). Retired after a 30+ year career with 3M. A beloved wife, mother, mother in-law and “Gran”, she enjoyed spending time as a consummate host at the cabin in Nisswa and at home. 

A visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday April 14 at O’Halloran & Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul. 

A memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 15 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Ave, St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior at the church.
