Carol A. ’s Story

Site created on March 25, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge site for our mother Carol Ann Rubbelke (McCourtney). We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As many of you likely know, our mother Carol was diagnosed with dementia in January 2018. We are grateful that she has been able to remain in the family home, under the support of family and in-house care professionals. It has been a slow and challenging journey for all, but her time of peace and redemption is now near as Carol has transitioned to end of life care.
