Throughout these recent weeks, Brian and Donna's hearts overflow with gratitude. Brian has completed his second round of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, marking significant progress in his healing journey. This week was supposed to herald the beginning of his third treatment, but an unexpected turn of events led to a hospital stay due to additional kidney stones. Despite this setback, they found solace in the doctor's intervention, who installed two stents to mitigate future complications.

Brian will have his third cancer treatment from May 6-8. He will then have kidney stone surgery on May 16 to deal with the stone that put him in the hospital this past week. Thus, he will only be one week behind on his scheduled treatments. He is encouraged that this setback has only delayed treatment one week. 

In the ebb and flow of life's challenges, there have been highs and lows, moments of joy and struggle. Despite the hurdles, they've cherished precious moments with family in Black Mountain, NC, and cherished the occasional attendance of church activities.

They extend heartfelt thanks for the continuous outpouring of prayers and words of encouragement. Every message and every prayer has been a source of strength, reminding them that they are not alone in this battle.
