“Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. 20 some years ago while we lived in Moscow, Russia, God gave me this verse. I was a wreck about where we would move to from there. Then God put this in my lap and I sat and cried and gave all my worrying right back to the Lord. 

I read this verse again this morning and was talking to Brett about that day in Moscow and how I had to give our future to the Lord 

Then about 10:00 this morning we got an email from the ortho specialist in Minnesota who we were counting on doing the miracle on Brett’s leg.  Well, the miracle Dr said that Brett’s arthritis and damage to his leg was too extensive and he was not willing to take Brett on as a patient. We both just sat there and looked at each other and said, “ now what”?  Well, after venting a bit and having a few choice words we talked about whether either one of us had even prayed about him taking Brett on as a patient. Neither one of us had. So we are thanking God for un prayed for prayers and protecting us from a Dr who was not meant to take care of us. 

The Lord’s will and not our own. Now we pray that God directs in what to do next! We went and got a couple more copies of his MRI and we trust that God will direct us to the Dr who is capable and willing to take over the care of Brett’s knee. 

Again we covet the prayers of our mighty prayer warriors the God will direct us to a new dr. Thank you friends.
