Sign In to Show Your SupportMy Dad taught me how to do a lot of things. He taught me how to mow the lawn at a very young age and it is still something that I love to do, even now. The older he got, the more I took over all of the mowing and yard work as he watched.
When I was young, he would put me on his lap and let me steer the car to teach me how to drive. Later he helped me study to pass a test to get my permit and get my driver's license.
He also helped me with cub scouts and boy scouts and selling Christmas wreaths, and going to meetings with me. He also helped me with my Eagle Scout project.
My Dad taught me how to do the right things and was there for me during the good times and the bad times. We had a lot of good memories together.
He will always be in my heart and I will know he is with me.
