Dad was discharged late this afternoon and aside from them both being exhausted, Mom and Dad are thrilled to be home. There seem to be no residual effects from this second stroke, which is a huge answer to prayer! Now we need to make sure ALL doctors on his team know to never remove him from a blood thinner!
Look at this guy! He is currently sitting outside on the deck enjoying “nature’s medicine”, exactly where he wants to be.
He will resume all activities later this week, with home OT, PT and Visiting Angels!
Thanks to Leah and Christina for scrambling to help while Allison was out of the country! It takes a village!
