Modification of medications and chemo is proving effective. The second week of chemo occurred without me rushing out to the ER. Still not feeling optimal but, since Tuesday this week, I have been more functional and I even managed to do some work. I plan to get what work I can get done while I am in my off week. I am testing a new medication this week to see if it will help alleviate the weakness and fatigue I am always feeling.
Before I became ill, I bought some tickets to see Jim Messina of Loggins and Messina at the Dakota venue next Friday. I am not sure if I will up to be attending, but we will have to see. Per Covid training, I travel everywhere with a face mask everywhere I go.
I managed to do a lunch with friends at a low traffic location today. It felt like I was almost normal again. It was the first time I was out for a non-medical reason in weeks.
I became a great-Aunt for the second time recently. My nephew and his girlfriend had their first child. I think I will have to wait until I am done with chemo before meeting my grand nephew.
It looked like we were headed to warmer weather, but the cold rain today felt like it could snow.
Hopefully, I can continue to update you with improvements in my condition. Please keep me in your prayers and good thoughts.
Bev
