Journal entry by Bev Wolfe —
Hi Everyone,
The modifications to the chemo treatment were helpful and it was not as debilitating as before. But I seemed to have developed light sensitivity as a new side effect making it more difficulty to read, especially on a computer screen. The true test will be the second round of chemo in this cycle to see how the response is. My doctor has concluded that I am a slow processor of chemo, which may help fight the cancer, but chemo is left over from the first round when I take the second round making the treatment more intense.
I managed to avoid the severe dehydration and I think I did not lose significant weight this time around. So, hopefully, the second round will go better.
I do sleep a lot. It frustrates my granddaughter Capri because she comes in to play with me and I keep dosing off.
I will update you after round two is over.
Take care,
Bev
