Dear Friends of Beth,

We have a confirmed date for the “unveiling” of Beth’s Bench.  We have reserved the Harmon Room, in the DeWitt Wallace Library, from 2:45-4:15 p.m. on May 15.  We will gather by the bench at 3 p.m., and after that anyone who is interested can come to the Harmon Room for light refreshments.  And if anyone has a favorite story of Beth to share, we’d love to hear them.

I was asked about the wording on the plaque.  Jacki Betsworth worked with me on the phrasing and we ran a couple of options past Eric Hillemann and this was the final wording selected. You can learn more if you come to the gathering.

Someone asked about photos and we will do our best to collect photos of the event to share on Beth’s Caring Bridge site.  I’m not sure we’ll be able to do a Zoom/Google Hangout for folks who would like to be there virtually.  I’ll check into what might be possible, but no promises.
