What a day! Today we got to celebrate and honor our brave Dustin by dedicating a wagon at Riley Hospital for Children. We were so thankful to have our immediate family with us along with many representatives from his care team at Riley. It was so nice to see them since they cared for him (and us!) for 45 days. What a blessing to be surrounded by so much love and support.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Heart Center in Dustin’s memory. The funds will go on to help other families as they navigate caring for a sick child.
The wagon means so much to us.
It will help to transport children to and from appointments in a fun way.
People will see or say Dustin’s name daily.
It will bring a sense of normalcy to the families that use it.
It will help to give another purpose to Dustin’s life.
Well done, Dustin. You are continuing to help others even from heaven! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you. We love you forever and we cannot wait to see you again.
