Hello everyone! Sorry we have not been updating this as much but we wanted to keep you all informed on a big change. Monday Tony was transferred to St. Louis Children’s hospital. It was a very sudden event that probably was decided on in about 30 mins of me and Nicole finding out. He was transferred as a proactive measure because of his hernia. Tony’s lungs have gotten better, still not perfect, and there was a window that he was stable enough for him to travel and the drs in Springfield felt it was a window that we shouldn’t pass up. His hernia was of epic size. It was the size of a baseball easily and let’s just say on a baby his size that’s massive! Nicole and I made it up to STL around 9pm last night and got to see him around 9:30. He is doing amazing and his hernia has been reduced without surgery. He may still need surgery for it but we pray that he is out of the woods in that department. We don’t know if he will be going back to Springfield before he gets to come home or not. We thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers since Tony was born, it truly means the world to Nicole and I along with our parents as well!
Thank you!!!
