Wow.  Say what????   Golfing???? 🤩

This week brought the usual ups and downs.  However....the GREAT moments were pretty flipping GREAT.💯.   Andy was able to demo an adaptive golf cart at Bunker (close to home!!!)....and swing some golf clubs!!!!  He has been missing this passion of golf!!!!  The company, Vertacat, was also pretty darn impressed with Andy.    They remarked that many of their clients are not able to "stand" for long periods of time and "perform" like Andy did.    This is a direct reflection on the hard work that Andy has been doing.  He stands and works out EVERYDAY. 

Stay tuned.  We will do everything that we can to connect Andy to ALL of the things that bring him joy.  BONUS, this company loved Andy so much that they want to "explore" an idea of Andy being an ambassador for the company.  Again, stay tuned and pray...very exciting stuff.  (They also said that they were just attending the "seated" golf championships in North Carolina....they want Andy to BE THERE next spring....and said their money just might be on Andy🏆)

Other great moments...Andy participated in some spinal cord research with the Mayo Clinic.  He has let it be known....he will be a part of any study anywhere.  And...the research right now is SO promising for these injuries.🙏. Keep the prayers coming!!!

And, we are starting to get CLOSER to researching and purchasing a vehicle.  Everything is a move in the right direction.....but, all moments are sometimes tinged with sadness of how hard things have become for this incredible young man.

Yet, make no mistake in all of this.  Andy is thriving because of his amazing drive and bad ass attitude.  I'm just happy to be mom, cheerleader, & chauffeur.  

Last comment...one of the attached photos is from game #6 Timberwolves on RIGHT now.  Andy's buddies brought dinner & are here watching the game.  These fellas are everything to him.  I hope they know that.💚
