Latest update...
Eloise came home November's 15th!! Things have been going really well at home with her. She is a really good baby 🍼.
She has been nursing 🤱 a lot more, which has been helping with my milk production.
She's been growing like a weed since she's been home too. At discharge, e weeks ago, she weighed 6lbs 9oz, about 19" long. As of Monday this week, she weighs 8lbs 5oz, 21 1/2"!!!
She loves to be snuggled!! And I'm pretty sure she's gotten very spoiled and used to being held. So we are working on not holding her as much.
Her sister Alyra is still in the hospital, enjoying all of the amazing nurses and doctors there.
She's a bit more like her Mom, and is just taking her sweet ole time coming home. She's making sure the water is just the right temperature before she swims.
She's been having some issues bottling. She tends to get tired easy and forgets to breathe. But this last week she has really shown major improvement and should be coming home with in the next week!!
We've been doing the back and forth to the hospital for a solid 3 months now, It's time for her to be home, and for the four of us to be together and be a family.
Other than the bottling, she's a champ!! She weighs 9lbs 2 1/2oz and is 22" long!!
They both have officially grown out of all of their Newborn clothes and are in 0-3 month clothes now.
The girls official due date was Tuesday of this week, December 4th.
I can't even imagine carrying these two to full term!!
Yikes!!! 😬🥴😵
Andy and I are figuring things out and finding our groove everyday with Eloise. And we'll do it all over again once lil Miss Alyra comes home.
We absolutely could not have done any of this without our absolutely amazing support system. I am so truly grateful for our parents especially and family and friends for all of the help and support they have giving us!!
We are so blessed!! Thank You 🙏🏻 to all of you!!
