Hey buzynskis! Just wanted to tell you that you all are always in my thoughts, especially around this time of the year. I've told Bethany's story to a lot of my friends here at school and they all wish they could have been blessed with knowing her. Just goes to show how many hearts Bethany is continuing to touch. Your strength and faith is inspiring to say the least, and remembering Bethany and her amazing journey has made getting through some pretty rough days a piece of cake. God bless!

Happy 19th Birthday Bethany! Although I only have memories of when you were much younger, I know that you were an amazing person who touched so many people. As you probably know, God has been blessed with another angel; your aunt and my mother Debbie. I just realized that your birthdays were only a day apart! I hope you celebrated them together and hugged one another lots for all of us down here! Take care of one another~ until we meet again!
Love your cousin; Angie

I could sit here and write a book, but i would just ramble on about memories and how much i miss you, and it all comes down to one thing... i can't believe it's been three years, you'll continue to be my inspiration, my angel, my hero, my best friend.

It's simply amazing that every now and again life hits you square in the face. Sometimes things just come to you and you're not sure why. As I was driving to work today I was thinking about the terrible storm and heavy rain we had last night. I looked up and the most gorgeous sky light was shining. It was many shades of orange with barely a cloud in the sky...just enough to make it breath taking. I think about Bethany often and know that she is around but today I was just reminded of her beauty, that sunrise was my wonderful reminder.

I am hoping that you all are doing well and I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this year bring you more peace and love.

I also wanted to let you know that on September 11, 2009 I had a beautiful little girl we named Lillie Kendall. We tossed around many names and finally found one that had some meaning. She is truly our "flower of the valley" just as her name states. On December 27, 2009 she will be baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfield. I will be praying that Bethany watches out for her as she joins Christ's family.

Thank you for sharing your lovely daughter with us and may you know that she will forever be in our hearts! God Bless you.

hey bee, I was listening to the radio & this song came on, and it really hit me hard, and just wanted to share it with you...

Sha-la-la-la-la, sha-la-la-la-la
You used to call me your angel
Said I was sent straight down from heaven
You'd hold me close in your arms

I loved the way you felt so strong
I never wanted you to leave
I wanted you to stay here holding me

[CHORUS:]
I miss you
I miss your smile
And I still shed a tear
Every once in a while
And even though it's different now
You're still here somehow
My heart won't let you go
And I need you to know
I miss you, sha la la la la
I miss you

You used to call me your dreamer
And now I'm living out my dream
Oh how I wish you could see
Everything that's happening for me
I'm thinking back on the past
It's true that time is flying by too fast

[CHORUS]

I know you're in a better place, yeah
But I wish that I could see your face, oh
I know you're where you need to be
Even though it's not here with me

[CHORUS x2]

... keep watching over me bee, i still need you!
miss you & love you, i can't let you go. <3

I was just thinking of you all tonight and wanted to send warm wishes your way. I know it has been 2 years but time does not make the void or missing Bethany any less. What a wonderful way to remember Bethany on that day by spreading some of her ashes on the ocean. Since living in Guam, when I go to the beach and look out over the ocean only to see water and sky, it is like heaven on earth. I can just sit and stare out over the beauty and feel like my dad is right there. Just as I'm sure you felt Bethany was right there with all of you on the anniversary of her receiving her angel wings. It also brought tears to my eyes hearing of her dog Snickers passing. I'm sure she is so happy to have her puppy with her but hard on you at the same time.

Sound like you all are doing really good and have an exciting year coming up! Good luck on your move to Hawaii, we'll be island neighbors now. We are planning on visiting Hawaii while we are here, so how exciting to know someone there. Maybe we can talk you into being our tour guides, hint hint!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care!!!

Just wanted you all to know we are thinking about you today on the 16th and always. Right now Glenn is TDY to Hawaii--sounds like he just missed you by a few months. Lauren is planning to go to University of Colorado in C. Springs on an Army ROTC Nursing scholarship and also a partial athletic scholarship for pole vaulting. We go up there for spring break for the final interview and PT test. She wrote all about BKB for a nursing scholarship that the local hospital here offers!! So many amazing things to write about--it was hard to keep within the word count requirement:). Take care and we know God is keeping you all close today and everyday! PS. I have no idea who that person from Oregon is who seems to know Glenn!

just wanted to write a little note on this special day. I'm glad all is well, & very sorry to hear about snickers, but i'm sure bethany is happy to have family with her again! I wanted to remind you that i think about you all every day, and you'll always remain in my prayers.

miss bethany kristine,
I can't believe it's been two years since i was sitting at your bed side, our hands interlocked, and trying to feed you blue slushy. Those past few weeks are so vivid & run through my mind often, but your smile, laugh, and love seem to overpower the 'down' days. I miss you more than words can explain girlie, and just wish i could have one more sleepover, or dinner date, or photo shoot. Your strength still inspires me when i hit the speed bumps of college life, and i'm so thankful to have been so lucky to be your friend. You'll always be my other half, the pee to my pants, the life jacket to our sinking boat, but most importantly, my best friend. Our friendship was one of a kind bee, one that can't/ wont ever be replaced.
keep waiting for me up there, and give snickers a hug for me. i love you to the moon & back bee, forever & a day <3

miss you love,
Bumble Bee.

Hey there pretty girl,
I've been thinking of you a lot lately, and i think it 's because of what i experienced this past weekend. I attended the 46 hour dance marathon, and you really kept me pushing through the pain. I got to listen to parents tell the stories of what their kids had gone through, or are currently going through, and it was so realistic to me. I hope everything is good for you! i miss you more than words can say and can't wait to see you again <3

i have a little favor, and that's to shine a little brighter down here on campus, it gets a little gloomy :)
THANKS BEE YOU'RE THE BEST!

Buzynskis,
I have thought about Bethany too many times to count through the past two years. Her journey was so uplifting and miraculous I still get chills every time I think of her ...it's almost like her way of letting me know she's there. She still comes up in conversation with our friends. It is indescribable how her life has affected so many people, even those who didn't know her personally.
I am attending Penn State (I know, you guys are for OSU haha) and am involved in the Dance MaraTHON. It is the largest student-run philanthropy group in the country, raising money for the Four Diamonds Fund to help the fight against pediatric cancer by dancing for 46 hours(thon.org). Anyway, Bethany is one of the major reasons why I decided to get involved in this organization. ...She is who I "THON for". I've shared Bethany's story with my morale committee, and she continues to touch people's lives. She truly was an amazing person and her memory will never be forgotten. She has definitely changed the way I take on obstacles in life.
For the Kids,

Greetings from Fairfield. I was reminded the other day of Bethany when the sun was shining so bright. Last week a classmate of mine was taken into God's light. She was so full of life and will be greatly missed. Stephanie Marie Sprankle was only 30 years old.

On the day of her funeral, I was standing in the cemetary after the service and the sun's light was very bright. I know that Bethany was welcoming Stephanie to heaven. Oddly enough, Stephanie was also very into softball so I know they will get along very well.

Life takes amazing turns and has many bumpy roads but knowing that someone is there to watch over you is very helpful. Please don't be sad (though I know that is tough to do) but smile instead, for those are the moments you want to remember the most. We will all meet again in heaven and be joyful.

Glad to see you are all doing well and please let Aarika know that having your wisdom teeth out is not that big of a deal. She can act like Mike (he had his out a few months ago) and milk it for all it is worth. Have people do things for you and take care of you!!!

Always in thought and prayer. Much love,

Hello Buzynskis! Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I was very excited to see the cute Bethany bear and loved the beautiful article and necklace – both items are so special! What a way to spread her beauty and love!! I have been able to share Bethany’s amazing story with so many and have kept her in my heart as a beautiful inspiration.

-Also- I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled this past summer and, like Lauren, had no trouble at all! But know what it is like to worry after hearing so many terrible stories—I wanted to send another positive one your way to at least hopefully give a little comfort! Best wishes for speedy recovery Aarika!

God Bless!

i'm glad to hear things are still good with you all. mom had sent me the information and article dealing with bethany's necklace and it's absolutely gorgeous!
&& the teddy :) so cute. I'm glad it all worked out!
i cuddle with bethany's bear every night && its finally getting a little colder, so her warm blanket comes into great use also :)
almost feels like it's her arms around me, keeping me warm and stressfree during those 'stressful' college nights.
i miss all, && think of you often.
i joined a group in school called THON, and it's an organization against cancer. You should be receiving a letter sometime soon. The organization is great && does amazing things for kids!

p.s. i had my wisdom teeth out last summer && i had absolutely NO complications and didn't even have to take pain killers, and i had them all cute out and everything. aarika should be okay :)

Hi Lori, Pete, Aarika and Blake!
Hope all is well in Florida. Would love to come visit sometime and maybe we will. Howie and I love it in that part of Florida. I come here every day to give myself a little boost to start my day. This week I am hoping Bethany can give me a little push to make it through the week. My little Joshua is going through eye surgery (for the same issue his Daddy has) and I know this is nothing compared to what your sweet little girl endured. I keep trying to remind myself of that and thought I would come visit for a little strength.
Thank you for your friendship and love that I feel each day. Your Bethany is such a treasure.
Love you all.

Hey Buzynski Family
Had a great time at the Circle get together in Fairfield. We had a chance to see the brick in Memory of Bethany. Getting to know Bethany and all of you made a difference in all of our lives. A purpose for all is what this is about. This life is all a journey in preparation to where we are headed in life.
I know that our destination is so utterly peaceful, that all this is so very worth it. For now you have her spirit and some day you will have a grand reunion, that will NEVER be taken away again.

Been busy preparing for the Friends Payer/Sunshine Circle Social in a few days and as we are preparing we can't help but think of the first social when we gave BKB the Circle's first Gold Medal of Courage!! Ed made a very neat shadow box frame for mine. We have it and Bethany's picture on a shelf in the computer armoire and we talk to her everyday. Wish you could be here for the social, Lori, but I know you live just a "little" bit further away than next door. How we wish you were still next door, but... Know that all of you are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Buzynskis!
I came home from work today and just felt that I had forgetten something, then it hit me--today is the "16th" and I wanted to leave you some well wishes. I think of you so often and have neglected to write a note... The kids and I are still here in Cali. We had a BIG family meeting and decided that we didn't Lauren to have a "surrogate" family for Senior year to manage all the college applications, job (she's a gymnastics coach), homework, and yes, the boyfriend she's had since Valentine's Day this year. And with Glenn TDY many, many days, we are hanging tough. Fortunately, he has 3 trips out here in September alone with meetings at Edwards, Vandenburg, and San Diego.

We know you had a fun summer with family!!! And in the next post you'll have to fill us in on Aarika's new year at UWF and Blake, too!! I'm thinking he must be busy, busy with soccer, etc.

Please know we are thinking of you and that a candle will be lit at the Lancaster, CA cancer walk in a couple of weeks with Bethany's name on it!! Lauren recently had her senior picture taken and there is a special shot of her wearing her letterman jacket and looking back at the lime green ribbon that is embroidered on the unzipped hood flap that says "BKB 3-16-2007". YOUR FAMILY IS NOT FORGOTTEN! And Bethany is forever in our hearts. Keep the faith!

Hi Buzynski family

Thanks for continuing to update this site. We love to read your posts. We continue to think of all of you and of Bethany. She touched so many lives in so many ways. Both my girls have a picture of Bethany in their room. When Brittany was up for a week this summer, the girls made hand prints on one of our Dogwood trees with lime green paint. They call in the Bethany tree and they have her initials underneath the hand prints. Bethany was a very SPECIAL young lady. Bethany and your entire family will always be in our hearts. Also, glad to hear Pete is back home from Iraq, safe and happy. Take Care all of you.

We still wear our Bethany bracelets and have her ribbon on our car.
Any word yet about when her necklace will be available for purchase?
Keep the faith.

Thanks for sending the absolutely beautiful weather, Bethany! We just can't get enough of the warm, sunny days and balmy evenings. It was so great to have your sister and brother here with us. It brought a sense of normalcy to us and made each day they were here so much fun. Not a day goes by that we don't think about the Buzynski Bunch with love in our hearts. Keep blessing all of us :)

Good Morning Buzynski Bunch! As I read the "pain" still very evident in your writing, it makes me miss that little girl even more than when I signed on to check in! You all amaze me with your strength. As I get ready to take my difficult journey, I can find strength from you guys. Mine is nothing compared to what you have handled with such grace. I will miss living across the street from you all. I do know we will never lose touch as your friendships have meant the world to Tanner and I! We will meet again whether it be in Iowa or where ever else you live. Blake and Aarika, have a super time in Pa. I know they are all awaiting your visit. Our day is never complete unless we check this website at least once. We remember and treasure all the time we had with BKB and her family and extended families. Those memories will never fade. Yippee -- we get to see Aarika and Blake if even for a few minutes in between their visiting with friends and having fun while there are in PA. In the last week, Pete, Ed was tempted to call you to say, "Pete, we are having potato soup, or we are having lasagna, etc." Isn't he bad? There isn't a time when I'm in the kitchen baking or cooking that I don't think about walking across the yard and delivering some of the "goodies" to the B's! Take care of each other and know that you are always and forever in our hearts.

Hello Bethany Fans! I just wanted to share some wonderful sights I can see as I sew in my front room. Pete has been working hard in the yard and " Lori isn't even fussing at him". The " Bethany Kristine" has been in the yard both weekends after a full day under the Bethany rays!! It si so awesome to see him home..Lori just grins when she sees him. Those two are like they are still in high school!! We are looking forward to all the family members due to arrive in June. Until next time, as Lori says...Keep smiling and live each day to the fullest! Hugs to you! Patti

I want you guys to know that I think about Bethany every single day. I have sat here and read almost every single journal entry that you guys have written. I cried and I smiled but I am also very thrilled to know that you guys are doing good. You have always been in my prayers. I dont know if you remember me but I am Jennifer LaRue from Las Vegas, Marty LaRue's daughter. I remember spending the night at your guys' house and getting woken up becuase snickers loved to lick my face. And me and Bethany always snuck out to jump on the trampoline and even though we both knew you guys wouldnt care that we were jumping that late, we still thought it was cooler to say we were sneaking out. She truly had a heart of gold. I miss her dearly. I would love to hear from you guys if you can catch a break from your busy lives. :] Until then, take care. <33

Hi Guys,
I have been thinking of Bethany today as I finally got outside to work in the SUN! That is saying something considering we had 7 inches of snow last Sunday. Thank you Bethany!!! Everything is turnng green again and looks so beautiful. Everytime I see those rays of sun peeking through the clouds I see Bethany checking on the Wisconsin area.
Pete, have a safe trip home! I am very appreciative of all you have done and everyone else in the military for our country and for others around the world as well. I see you have some major vacationing to do, enjoy! You all deserve some great family memories to be made this year.
Lori, good to hear you have resumed daycare. Those kids are lucky to have you in their lives.
Hope to see you all again sometime. If you are ever in this neck of the woods we would love to hear from you.
Love, Kris

Good morning to all of you Bethany Fans!! We had our "Relay For Life" last night here in Niceville. WOW!! It was amazing. Aarika did an awesome job on her tribute to Bethany. Christy did another awesome job speaking about "our" special angel. Where did they get that strength?? Bet an angel helped them!! The KEY club had 80 luminaria bags set out with Bethany's picture on every one of them! Blake and I found one lone star shining through the clouds!!! Just like the night of graduation. I have been collecting firewood along the roadside for Pete to be able to have his bonfires when he returns. We love and miss you sweet Bethany!! patti and tanner

Happy 17th Bethany! I just got home from Lauren's home soccer game. She and Chelsea decorated the stands with lime green & pink balloons, streamers, and a beautiful banner. All the girls wore "bright" lime green socks with lime green ribbon in their hair. At half time your bbf, Lauren, said a little speech with the entire team on the field with her, they all sang Happy Birthday to you, and they let balloons go. I'm sure you heard the "singing"!

We all miss you like crazy kiddo! We think of you every day. It was raining this morning and all day I was talking to you to do your magic and keep the rain bottled up until after the game---you did it again B! Thank you!! Varsity played first and then JV..after the JV game when we were heading home, it started to rain. Your timing was perfect!

Pete - Please be safe, and "thank you" for keeping us safe. "Home of the free...because of the Brave!"

Happy Birthday again Bethany. We miss and love you each and every day.

I am sure the sun shines brighter there since your arrival!!! You are very much missed here, but keep a lookout, for one of these days the sky will open and our Saviour will appear to bring his saints home. You will see all of your family and friends once again. Dear Bethany:
We know you are having a very happy birthday in Heaven!
We remember with great fondness your Sweet 16th b-day party and all the fun we had planning it for you. Wrapping all those laffy taffy favors and watching your Mom and Aunts and cousins decorate with ribbon and balloons and your sis, Aarika, making all those wonderful signs. But most of all we remember the surprise on your face that stayed there until the last guest left! Tell my Mom she should get busy making you some hot wings or grilling a steak for you to celebrate. We certainly celebrate your life every day, but want to especially celebrate this special day -- March 27 !!!

Happy Birthday Puddin! I just wanted to leave you a quick note and let you know how much I miss you. I think of you every single day and I thank God for the time we had together. Your strength, courage and wonderful outlook on life have shown me to look at my own life in a completely different way. I no longer take things for granted and I try to make the most out of each and every day. No matter how tough my day is going, I can think back at how you handled all your problems and mine seem to be fade away. You taught me more about life in two years than I had learned in the previous 40. My time here in Iraq has been rough at times, but every night I look through hundreds of your photos and they all show the same thing...a beautiful person living life to it's fullest. Your wonderfull smile is truly missed but everytime I see it I smile and remember what a little shit you were. Although your time here was short, you had big impact on a lot of people's lives and you will never be forgotten. I hope you know how proud I am of you. One day we will be together again. Until that time I know you will be watching over us...keep a close eye on Blake for me...he's starting to talk about girls! I Love you Sunshine!

Hello Buzynski Family!

We just wanted to let you know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers! On Saturday afternoon we had a benefit concert at the High School Auditorium to honor Bethany. We had over 2 1/2 hours of music from lots of groups - The Lehmans, Jazz Band, Ensemble, Neil Perry, Savage Dance Group, The Show Choir and others. The Show Choir (Katie Brown) spearheaded this event. We raised almost $1,000.00!! A ton of people came out for Bethany!

Dear Buzynski Family:

I just wanted you to know that we have been thinking of you daily and remembering last year as though it were yesterday. Today in church, our minister of course preached on Palm Sunday, but really emphasized JOHN 3:16 as well. It occured to me awhile ago that the 3:16 is profoundly relevant--- MARCH (3)16th!!! "For God so loved the world that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." What an awesome day to have been called into the Lord's presence!! WOW!! Maybe lots of people have already said this and I am just slow.....but I thought it was incredibly special---just like Bethany!

Lauren has been busy helping with the Niceville Relay for Life stuff long distance from her laptop here in California. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the event will be an enormous success.

Please know that you are all still so close in our hearts and prayers! Miles and time don't change that!

Even though we all miss her being here physically her spirit is always surrounding us, especially you guys, Pete, Lori, Aarika and Blake. It is hard to believe that it has been a year since Bethany received her angel wings. She was reborn without any pain or limitations as to what she can do. She is always with you all and with all of us in our memories. I know that I think of her everyday. She was definately a special young lady. Stay strong and know that Bethany is with you always. heyy heyy there buzynski family =o]
i wanted to share a poem with you that i wrote not too long ago...soo here goes..

have you ever say under that stars at night
hoping God would hear?
confidence filled with questions
faith replaced with fear.
have you ever had to go through each day fighting
just to stay alive?
everyday not knowing whether
she'd have the strength to survive.
have you ever had a best friend
who'd smile shinned like the sun?
who always lived life to the fullest
and shared her love with everyone.
have you ever looked back at pictures
playing all the memories in your head?
just to remember all the crazy and funny things
you two had said.
have you ever wished away someone else's pain?
just to lend a helping heart
your happiness they'd gain.
not a day passes that her smile couldn't be seen
and her friends show their support and love,
in the halls, a sea of lime green!

-- i've been thinking of you all today, and i know that poem doesn't stress everything, but bethany was truely one of a kind, the most amazing girl i've ever met, she was the person i was able to tell my life story to, the person i shared many tears, laughes and memories with...the girl who knew me better than i know myself. I've never met anyone like her, nor will she ever be replaced, because i love her with all my heart...she's my sunshine, my angel, my best friend. it doesn't feel like a whole year since i was down there in florida staying at the buzynski bed and breakfast//camp ground, with all of you and family for her last few days. I feel like i was leaning over her bed side like just yesterday, every detail is soo fresh in my mind, and so vivid, and for that im greatful.

i miss her insanely, as does everyone, but i just wanted to make sure you guys knew that. you're daughter will NEVER be forgotten, fairfield will always be decked out in lime green =] && you're family will ALWAYS be in our prayers!! No worries, you aren't alone in this journy to seeing our bethany bee again.

I do hope Bethany was shining bright for you all down there in good ol' florida, because she's been beautiful here in pa :) the benefits and memorial services have been inspirational, and heart warming, and we could feel her presence at both!

Pete -- hope everything is going as well as it can over there. know we're thinking of you too! stay safe! =]

thanks for everything you guys
you've all changed my life in more ways than one, and for that im forever thankful!

Then I went into church and saw some of Bethany's friends wearing lime green and was reminded of how loved she was when she was here and how loved she still is now. You are such an inspiring family. That was always fun. We all miss you guys very much. Staying with us for a couple days, just didn't seem like a long enough time. I'm coming for a week in summer, remember Pete? :) Well Take care, and just remember our family is ALWAYS thinking about you guys! We miss you and love ya.

Pete & Family
I know today will be a tough day for all of you, especially with you in Iraq, Pete. Lori and I just send our thoughts and prayers for a good day, remembering all the great things Bethany brought to your life. And yes, it's a beautiful, sunny spring day here in Florida...the kind of day I'm sure Bethany would have loved!
Just a side note...thanks again, Pete, for what you're doing over there! It is respected and appreciated!!
Our best,
Dave & Lori

Hello Pete, Lori, Aarika, Blake and Bethany:
The joy we shared when you moved into our little neighborhood was wonderful. As our friendship grew our love of your family grew and then before we knew it you became "part of our family", and there you will remain. There always seemed to be just one more thing we wanted to do for your family, one more thing we wanted to say, one more thing...one more thing... And, now there are many miles separating Fairfield from Niceville, Iraq and Heaven, but in our hearts and minds we are standing right beside you each day. We smile at every "Bethany" sunrise and know her ever present smile is shining down on us. Thank you for your spirit and strength. God Bless you!

Love Ya'

Hello Pete, Lori, Aarika, Blake and, of course...Bethany! Thanks for the sunshine today, B! I would also like to thank you for watching over Lauren. Lauren wanted to have her senior pictures taken outside and we had already cancelled once because of the snow storm, and she was scheduled for 3/15 when we heard that it was to rain---well, thanks to your bright, beautiful smile, it rain the day before and the day after, but NOT the day of her pictures! It was gorgeous outside and just warmed our hearts! Thanks B!!

It doesn't seem possible that you have been away from us for a year already. You still feel so close...and always will. I am not surprised that on the 16th of each month, fairfield turns "lime green"! as I am sure, many, many places around the world, people who you have touched, turn "lime green" too. You are missed each and every day.

Pete, hopefully you received your "surprise pkg" and those "patriotic belly buttons"! We are so proud of you Pete, and your fellow soldiers for making our country, a safe place for us to live. Please be safe and take care of yourself.

Lori forwarded the pictures of you and your pals. Looking good Pete!! Our family always looks forward to hearing from your family---makes us feel closer to Bethany in a way.

Take care of yourselves. You are never far from our thoughts and prayers.

Love you all! Di

Last year on this day it was snowing...what a perfect way for Bethany to go...as she was an angel pure as snow. Today we woke to a beautiful sun...Bethany smiling to let us all know she is watching over all of us and smiling down on you, her family. Your family continues to bless the world with your strength and courage...thank you for that and God bless you all in this day and always. Pete, thank you for doing all you are in Iraq to keep us free, God and Bethany be with you always.

An angel called Bethany

You feel the soft breeze of angel wings
As she gently lingers near
And she is always close by your side
and her love is known, so clear
She walks with you every day
Her spirit by your side
Until the day, somewhere in time
When with her you will again abide.

Lori, Pete and family: The day of Bethany's promotion to heaven is near and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers....Time heals...but love remains...and one day you will cradle her, once again in your loving embrace. What a day that will be, when Bethany's sweet, lovely face, you will behold again. You were truly blessed for 16 beautiful, unforgettable years, but those years were a mere second compared to the eternity you will spend with her someday.
Love to you and yours, and remember, she walks beside you!!!

To the Buzynski Family,
We know that heart strings tie a family together. Your heart strings span from Iraq, to Florida, to Heaven. Your family has endured many things and through it all your faith has held you up. Thinking of you everyday and in a special way as you come upon the one year date of letting Bethany go home to Heaven. It will be a bittersweet day for you with so many memories. I know that God will help you through this time and we hold each and every one of you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Heyy there my bethany kristine =] just wanted to remind you how much i miss you, and how much im thinking of you and can't wait to see your smiling face again, and feel the warmth of your hug. I wanted to share a dream i had about you the other night that was simply amazing!!! soo here goes..

i was at ruby's ya kno, where i live my life now that i've become a working chick... and i was making my salad and all of the sudden you came up behind me and gave me a hug. i was soooo suprised that i began to cry, and you were crying and well we were two very happy people. You looked amazing, running to me on two legs, long curly brown hair && super white teeth!! We stated like running around in circle hugging each other, and i realized that everyone was like staring at me. i didn't really understand why, but then i realized that i was the only one who could see you. I was very thankful :) && we went back to my house and chillaxed on the bed remembering all the good times, you told me about how amazing the softball team was up there, and how everyone was very welcoming. it was awesome seeing you, but once again, there was a time when you had to go back 'home' back to the place where you can look over me and everyone else that means the world you to. Our goodbyes weren't goodbyes, but rather a see you again soon!

Bethany i can't even describe how happy i was to have been gifted that dream. I woke up and my eyes were blood shot, stomach hurt from laughing and crying, and overall it was just amazing as was everytime we were reunited. I went to church a few hours later and prayed to God to gift that dream again very very soon!! i wish i was able to share it with others, and they could feel what i felt that night.

You will always be in my heart bethany darlin, && i can't believe i've been away from you for almost a year now. I'm sure you can see, but fairfield has been reppin' the lime green every month :) Tiffany's benefit for you was really great, and im excited for this saturday when Katie Brown has one with the music department!!

keep shining bright babygirl
you'll always be my hero, my angel, and most importantly...
my best friend!!

I LOVE YOU BKB!!!!

The precious gift
one gift above all others
God gives to us to treasure.
One that knows no time, no place,
and one gold cannot measure.
The precious, poignant, tender gift of memory--
that will keep our BETHANY ever in our hearts.
Although God gives her sleep
it brings back sweet remembered things.
A song, a word, a SMILE.
And our world is a better place--
because we had her for a while!

Holding each of you in our thoughts and prayers as Bethany's angel-versary arrives.

ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS

Dear Lori, Pete, Aarika and Blake...

It is hard for Beth and me to imagine that it has almost been a year since "our" Bethany ascended to her "overwatch" position. We think of her often to keep her memory alive in our hearts. She truly brought light into so many people's lives. We miss her, but feel her presence regularly.

We miss you guys!! Take care of each other and Pete, you keep your head down and hurry home to them!

Dear Buzynski Family,
I have just recently learned of the news about Bethany. I offer my deepest sympathy to your family. It feels like just yesterday that she sat in my 5th grade class. I was so blessed to have had the opportunuty to teach such a beautiful spirit. Since teaching Bethany years ago and moving on to teach middle school I have taught thousands of students, but I could never forget Bethany Buzynski. She had a smile that would light my classroom. She was my little ray of sunshine and I missed her when she wasn't there. I can still see her sandy colored pony tail bob up and down as she and Kelsie would run in from recess. My memories of her are so crystal clear and I can paint the most wonderful and vivid pictures of her in my mind. I have read through your journal entries and am in awe of your faith and strength as parents. It seems as though you were Bethany's strength and she was yours. Bethany used to share family stories about you, but I never really knew just how special you are. I will hold you and Bethany in my prayers. Til we meet Bethany again.

Hi! This is your friends The Grahams in California. Just wanted to check in and wish a happy birthday!!!! I (allyson) think of you SOOO often. I hope that Aarika is still enjoying nursing school--it gets very overwhelming at times, but it is so worth it in the long run, and that Blake is having fun at Ruckel, and that Pete is passing the time away from you as best as he can and that he will be home soon. We are praying for all the Eglin family with the news of the terrible crash yesterday. Please take care of yourselves until we see you again!! I feel her special presence, she's always very near
A bright angelic smile, she sends to all, so dear
From heaven far above us, she spreads her healing balm
and asks for special blessings, and surrounds us with her arms.

God Bless you and your family! As the anniversary of Bethany's promotion to Heaven nears, know that she is happy and content in the Lord and mingling among angels.

Just hopping onto the site to feel your amazing energy. I think of you guys often. Larry works with a gal that just lost her daughter of 20 due to cancer. I wish there were ways to protect all children from this terrible disease. It amazes me the profound faith and strength you families can come up with. I truly doubt I'd be standing as strongly as you and your family does.

I saw that Pete was sent overseas. I've jotted down his address and we'll be sure to send him a package from Minnesota. Well today is Martin Luther King, Jr. rememberance day and we just wanted you to know that today our family is remembering TWO great American heroes--MLK and BKB!!! Hello Buzynski Family,

Greetings from California and Alabama!! We thought about your family SO MANY TIMES in the last couple of weeks that I can hardly remember exactly how many. Lauren got a (used) car for Christmas and the first thing she did was run to her room to get her lime green ribbon/sticker with Bethany's name and stick it prominently on the back window. I feel good that as Lauren drives her special angel is traveling everywhere with her!! So, Bethany is now cruising around Cali:).

How is Aarika liking nursing school at UWF? Is the daycare business picking up speed?

We were so excited to see all the folks from Niceville that came out for the Rose Bowl Parade. We actually made 3 trips down to LA (Lauren did NOT drive in LA)to hook up with Fawn and Robbie and some of Lauren's and Bethany's other buddies. We even chased the "SUN Diego" Niceville tour buses down Hollywood Boulevard through all the Disney characters that were "blocking" our way (the bus finally did stop).

Lauren is up in Reno, NV at a big pole vaulting meet. I am sure that if she can just imagine herself vaulting up to see Bethany she will reach tremendous heights!

We miss your family so much and pray for a 2008 filled with lots of blessings. Our emails and cell numbers are the same. Please keep in touch!
