How is your son doing? Well, I hope. Our son Jacob died of MRT of the liver in 2000. He went through multiple rounds of chemo and 2 bone marrow transplants in an effort to rid mets from lymph nodes and lung with the idea of a living doner transplant afterwards. Unfortunately, the chemo did not rid the tumor outside the liver as hoped. What stage was your son when he was diagnosed? One complication in our case was that it took our son quite some time after his last chemo round and before the scheduled liver transplant to recover his blood counts enouch to do the trasplant. Did you have this issue? Regardless of your current situation, God bless.
