It is so uplifting to finally know that someone knows what my family is going through. I thought my son was the only one to have Rhabdo in the liver. We are newly diagnosed(11/02/06) and are on week 7 of chemo. The doctors at Chidren's Hosp pretty much had to wing a treatment plant since they didn't have studies of other children's course of treatment to see what worked. I am so glad that your son is doing great. It eases my mind to think that we too can beat this. God Bless Your Family.

Hi, my name is Jennifer Nittolo and I just found this page and am amazed at how well yor son is doing. My nephew Joey Millward is 13 months old and has had two tumors removed from his liver. My brother and sister-in-law just got news that the rhabdoid cancer could possibly be in his blood stream since they found some cells in the blood vessels in the tumor. I know that you can understand the gravity of the situation at this point. In retrospect they should have done a transplant but there was the fear that it wouldn't take...oh how I wish we could have seen your web page before now. If you would please pray for my family and my little nephew I would greatly appreciate it and I of course will lift your family to God daily for continued strength and good health for all of you. If you'd like to visit his carepage it's at carepages.com under littlejoeysjourney Thank you so much. God Bless Jenn

It must be contagious. Nicholas is dealing with his own gastrointestinal bug. I actually took him in last Saturday because he kept saying "tummy hurt, open it" and pointing to his spleen. Very unusual. The doctor says that his spleen feels normal. At the time he seemed to feel fine otherwise. That's changed now! Poor kid! I hope that Jacob feels better. Glad to hear the bloodwork came back in the normal range.

I have visited your site before, but I haven't left a message. My son Nicholas was born with a Rhabdoid tumor on his back in April 2003. He is doing great now. This afternoon we went to our Pediatric Oncology Family Picnic, and the clinic had a new doctor to introduce. His name is Dr. Camilo. Our oncologist introduced us to him and told him about Nicholas. Dr. Camilo mentioned that he had recently had a patient with Rhabdoid of the liver. I knew immediately that he was talking about Jacob because I knew you were from Ohio, and so is he. It's a small world. I'm glad to read that Jacob is doing so well, and congratulations on your newest addition.

Congratulations on your good health! I found your interesting story on the cota website. My daughter has been a patient at Cinci Childrens since 1991. In Sept. 2004 , they told her she needed a liver, small bowel and stomach transplant. Angie was born with pseudo obstruction and has spent much of her life in the hospital. She loves being with the "little kids". She is 20 now, and may be having her transplant at Pittsburgh. She loves Cinci and the cota people. We see you are from Perrysburg. We are from Bryan, but go to Toledo Hopsital to the doctor. Thanks for letting us read your website. Stay healthy and God Bless.

Hey everyone!

I just read on Sydney's site (www.caringbridge.org/oh/sydney) a guestbook entry from about a fantastic event coming up! Here's the post:

"Just wanted to remind all of you that the St. Baldrick's event is quickly approaching. If you know of anyone that would like to donate to the cause or someone that would like to have their head shaved- let me know. Any money raised will go directly to childhood cancer research. So...BE BOLD- GO BALD! The event will take place at the Byrne/Glendale Fiesta Hair Salon- near Doc Watson's. They are hoping to raise $10,000! I guess K 100 has been announcing it....Bowsher's Homecoming King is having his head shaved at this event..and is hoping to raise 500.00 in pledges!

If there's anyone out there that would like to participate in the head shaving or would like to donate to the cause- please contact me at Bowsher (419) 385-5776" - Chris Coleman

I think this is awesome and will be looking for people to help, donate, be shaven.

Hello. My name is Chris Coleman. I am friends with Sydney Welch's parents, Kelly and Charles. Through Sydney's website, I was blessed to meet Haley Minchella and her parents. I just recently clicked on your link-located on Haley's page- and thought I would attempt to read a majority of your journal entries.
I, too, am a parent. My daughter, Kennedy, just turned 3. I cannot imagine having a sick child. I know that it takes special parents to be able to handle such a scenario. It is my hope, that my thoughts, prayers and well wishes can comfort you.

Please know that I will life your family up every morning with my prayer partner. Know that someday this ugly disease will be eliminated. It just breaks my heart to know that this illness is targeting our young people. I can only hope that our medical profession can figure this out- so our little children no longer have to suffer.

If there is anything that I can do for you, please don'thesitate to e-mail!

Know that I am cheering you guys on! And I will continue to lift you up in prayer.

Thanks for sharing your journey!

Hello everyone,
Hi little man. I love the new picture! It was a year ago today that your Grandmother Cady sent this site to me. Oh I am so happy this year is going so much different than the last. You and your family are always in our thoughts and prayers. Grandma Cady sends me an up date on how much you and your sister have grown, and the wonderful times she is able to spend with you. I can only imagine the strength and example you and your sister will teach your new brother. He is so lucky to have the two of you. I know all will go well with the scans this week. I know I just wrote an entry, but after going back to read some more of your page, I had to tell you...

I felt an instant conection to your story since your last name is my first name :) but even moreso when I heard that you first started this journey on Dec 12 last year...

...the exact day that my husband and I welcomed our first born son into this world. He turns one in 2 weeks and the idea that the happiest day of our lives was the saddest day of yours sort of reminds me of how fragile life is....

Thank you for reminding me to appreciate every second.

Hello- You don't know me, but I saw you had signed Haley's page, and wanted to tell you that I have added your gorgeous baby boy to my list of prayers. I live in Toledo and have been following Haley and Sydney's (www.caringbridge.org/oh/sydney) stories for months now.

We simply HAVE to find a cure for this. It sickens me to hear of the kids who have been in the fight of their lives at so young.

God bless you all.

Jacob's progress is certainly prayer answered. May God continue to bless and keep you all happy and healthy. This was coincidence-today I decided to check on Jacob and you mentioned my grandson Jackson in your post. Jackson, too, is having fun at his new preschool in Westfield, MA. He was excited about his costume for this year.

Ron and Christine-
It was just today that I received the Fall UT Alumni magazine and much to my surprise do I see my old College friends and read this amazing story about your brave son. It was just last Nov. that I saw you 2 and I was shocked to hear your son was sick. Jacob is a brave little boy and is lucky to have parents like you two and the support of friends and family. Give him "Mile High" hugs and kisses from Mike and Tiffany. Remember, Jacob and your entire family are in our prayers.

Dear Brother Ron and entire Cady family,
Just wanted to say hi, as I have been surfing the site, pulling stuff together for the item I'm writing for the upcoming Fall issue of The Rattle. I am so inspired by Jacob, and all who have worked so diligently and prayerfully for him. As a dad of a 23 year old son (and brother!), and a 26 year old daughter, my wife of 31 years and I can relate so intimately to all the parental heart so evident in Christine's words. Thanks to all for letting us peek over your shoulders and be with you, support you in prayer, and put Phil 4: 6 & 7 in action! PTL.

Fraternally,

This is grandma Phyllis saying hello to you once again from the beautiful state of WV. Your Uncle Eddie and Edgel are here with me. They brought your cousins also. They are asking about how you are doing, and I showed them a picture of you and Jordan. I miss you lots....it's a good thing you gave me all those moochies before I left, but I think I have just about run out, so I will be home Monday evening to get some more. I have been checking on your website daily and have been keeping up to date on how you are feeling. I am so happy that you will be starting to school...what an answer to prayer that is! God Bless, and I will see you all soon.

Dear Cady's,
My joy at that picture of Jacob is so overwhelming. You must all be so happy. (I bet you are all exhauasted, too.) It is also so faith affirming to see how well he has done throughout this whole journey. Our prayers are continuing and I want to thank you again for allowing us to follow you throughout your ordeal. It has made me a better mom. I count my blessings everyday and the little things that used to bother me have been put into perspective and don't even show up on my "radar screen" anymore. Hi Cady Family,
We just returned from our annual trip to Florida, and I just recieved your e-mails. First of all, don't be sorry about not getting back to me. I completely understand!! Dixon never gave us any e-mail address, but he did give us bits and pieces about what was going on. We saw him in Florida, and he is still his immature, obnoxoius self. He will never grow up! He was great to my kids though. We gave Alec the "Hi" message from Jordan. I am elated that Jacob is home, and I hope he is doing great. Let's hope this weather warms up. He looks great in the picture with his baseball bat. You guys can call us whenever you are up to it, and if you ever need a sitter for Jordan or even both of your kids, just call us. We always have a housefull of kids here anyway. We would be happy to help in any way. I'm sure we will see you soon. I'm still praying daily.

Hi Jake, Jordan, Chris and Ron,
Sorry to hear that Jake was not feeling good yesterday. I hope is doing better today. Hopefully you guys can head back to the RM House today. We went with grandma and grandpa to let Calli out on Saturday. I think she was happy to see the kids at least I know Dubs liked seeing her. The kids swung on your swing set for a little while because it was nice out. Shannon was swinging on Jake's blue swing. She said that the swing was blue and the chains were yellow and that was her and Jacobs favorite colors. Well I'm off to work I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you all and missing you. My prayers are still with all of you. Hopefully we will be seeing you sometime next week. Cady's: Tiffany, Gabby, McKenna, and I went to the Chocolate Shoppe last night. What a good cause but what a disaster--I wanted to buy everything in the store. I thought this would be a good time to buy my Easter candy, but don't ask me how much Chuck and I ate last night and tonight. I think I will have to go back. We saw your Mom, Dad, Patty, and Jessica. They were just leaving when we arrived. The place was packed and such nice people! They just found a permanent customer.

Hey guys,
My friends had this quote on their website for Jack and I thought you might enjoy it. It's a quote by Charles Kingsly: "Be not anxious about tomorrow. Do today's duty, fight today's battle, and do not weaken and distrust yourself by looking forward to things which you cannot see and could not understand if you saw them." Anyways good luck this next week. I hope you know how incredible you all are and how much you are loved. With lots of love and hugs

Dear Chris and Ron,
I don't know your family, but my kindergartener brought home a flyer for your fundraiser. We will be going to the Chocolate Shoppe tomorrow and getting lots of goodies! Please know that Jacob and your family are in our prayers.
We know all too well the pain and struggles involved in having a sick child. Our two year old son has spent many months in the hospital due to multiple heart defects. Along the way, I have also found a couple of Ohio programs that can help with the medical bills and other programs that provide free air transportation. Please email me if you would like info on any of this. Again, we will be praying for Jacob as he starts another round of chemo.

Hi Chris, Ron, Jordan, and Jacob. I just found out about this website today, and I read your entire journal. I have been asking people about you guys, but no one had many answers for me. I tried calling, but your number had been disconnected. I know I could have tried harder, but I am so busy with my 4 little ones, which is no excuse, but I am glad to finally know the details of your excruciating journey. I don't know how you did it, but you two are quite amazing! I cannot begin to comprehend what you both have been going through. I am so happy to hear about Jacob's continued progress. I have been praying for him every day. Who is this Tom guy that donated his liver? What a saint!! I know you already know that though. I have asked Alec how Jordan is doing, and he always replys, "Just fine mom." I think he still has a crush on her. I just want you to know that I will continue to check Jacob's progress now that I know about this website, and I will continue to pray! Mark and I plan on attending the fund raiser tomorrow at the Chocolate Factory. Please let us know if there is anything at all that we can do for you. This story is truly amazing! We love you guys.

Dear Jacob, Tom and families,
My granddaughter, Gabriel Lopez, is working hard to support your gift Tom to Jacob. The Church Gabriel and I attend, where I am organist, is Wesley Memorial United Methodist of Warrenton, NC. The Sunday School classes are all rejoicing in the miracles God works through persons like you Tom. We are now rejoicing that Jacob will soon be able to return home with his loving family. God Bless All of You this Easter season -- when God gave us a gift none of us can ever forget. Lovingly, Nanci Lucas, (Grandma) and the Lopez Family (all 7, including the "worker bee" - Gabriel).

It is so great that Jacob is doing so well. We check the site daily to see how the progress is going. I guess we don't realize how much we take life for granted until someone we know is touched by God's presence. I truly hope you are able to come home on April 9th so that Jacob can have a birthday that he will never forgot and you can live life to the fullest here where you are comfortable. God bless you all!

Hi Cadys,

Just a quick note to let you know we will be thinking of you this up coming week and hoping all goes well. We will also be at A.I. this week for some follow up tests on Joshua.
Great to hear you have been able to enjoy the area a bit. We vacation at the beach at least once a summer and sometimes it is refreshing to hear another person's perspective on something we have come to take for granted. I think that can be said for many areas of life!

Dear Cadys,

A few things: First and foremost, SO glad to hear Jake is progressing well! You both have done such a great job at keeping us all informed! I'm a writer too (you will be able to tell that by the length of this msg.!) and have always found it to be a good catharsis for stressful times.

I got the bowling literature from Sue, and Bob and I will definitely be there on April 25th. We can't wait!! With you two as Toledo alum, I thought I should let you know that my alma mater Bowling Green State University is hopefully going to help a bit too! I work in the library here at BG and am putting a pledge sheet up on my floor as well as the entire staff board.

Ron, hear, hear on the U of M comments!!! More proof that they are FAR inferior to the mighty Buckeyes. I can't wait to tell Bob this one!

Take care,

Hello everyone!

I have been thinking this message over in my mind for a few weeks now trying to make it perfect. I have finally concluded that perfection is impossible and this can wait no longer. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank each and every person who has contributed to this situation - in all the various ways that you did. The people to thank are too many to list here and inevitably, I would forget somebody. I also want to thank those people whom I have never met, and may never meet, who have lent their support and prayers. Whether friend or stranger, all of the prayers and messages were truly inspirational and I know they helped me, my family and the Cadys get through a very trying time. I have begun to return to "normal" life and Jacob is on the same road - just a little little longer road, but he and his family will continue to need all of you.

Time has a way of helping you forget the more unpleasant aspects of situations but I would do it all over again.

Thanks again to all of you and for anyone who doubted it - prayer works.

The very best to everyone. God Bless. Tom

Hi Chris, Ron, Jacob, Jordan:
So glad to read that Jacob is doing so well. Isn't it amazing how quickly children can bounce back from things that would take us months. It is also amazing how such a small child can bring people from all over together for a common cause. It is wonderful to read all of the support that is being offered to your family. You are very lucky.
We look at Jacob's site frequently and our kids, especially our Jacob is very interested in hearing how he is doing. Jacob feels a connection due to that common bond of game cube. He asks all the time if I know what his favorite game is.
If there is anything we can do until you leave just let us know!
Please know that we continue to pray for Jacob's complete recovery and a speedy return home for the two of you. Our little Joshua is just another example of how powerful prayer can be and how prayers are still answered.
Take care!

Greetings Cady Family!!
So glad to hear that Jacob is doing well and Tom is also on the road to recovery. You are all quite amazing and inspirational!! Our family has been praying for and thinking of each of you!! We hope to participate in many fund raising events -- there are so many incredible people in the community eager to do what we can to help!!

Also, I wanted to present to you a 'spiritual bouquet' from the gals in my 'Friends in Faith' group from St. Rose. We are meeting on a weekly basis through Lent to read and discuss scripture as well as a variety of other spiritual topics. Jacob is always at the top of our list of topics to chat about!! We decided our group would create a 'spiritual bouquet' for your family in the form of various prayers performed by our team members and their families in your honor. Each participant has agreed to pray the rosary or complete a series of prayers for Jacob's improved health, Tom's recovery, and strength and faith for your family. We began creating our 'spiritual bouquet' the day before Jacob's surgery and will continue through Lent -- or longer. :) We hope that our 'bouquet' of prayers has provided strength and comfort. Give Jacob a squeeze from us!! And know that you have many praying for you at St. Rose!! We love your updates and pictures!!

Dear Cady Family, Eventhough my brother, Tom, has returned home, I continually check on Jacob's condition. I can't imagine how you felt when they told you Jacob would have to go back to surgery. I have four very healthy children of my own and can't imagine what you have gone through. I think of Jacob everyday and thank God that Tom was a life-match for your Son. I hope Jacob a very long and normal life, he will be in my prayers forever. Tom's sister, Diane

Tell Jacob that his Grandma Mann is praying and thinking of him and Red and I are also. I am glad that you have this website to keep in contact with family and friends. I feel strongly that God has called me to help Brandon Hastings in the same way He called Tom to give a part of his liver to heel your son. If the Lord continues to opening the doors, I will do the same for Brandon. Will you please keep my wife, Jennifer, and I in you prayers, that God will show His face upon us and give us peace and stedfastness in His will. God's hand is obviously in all of this. After Deb called me to tell me Tom was out of surgery, I immediately went to each of the boys' classrooms. After an enthusiastic cheer, they stopped immediately and wanted to pray for Jacob because they knew he was now ready to recieve his new liver. We have Jacob and Tom's picture on our class bulletin board. We at St. Pete's are always talking about being life giving and Tom, you have really showed us how it is done! The boys and I will be celebrating with breakfast at McDonald's tomorrow. We continue to pray for both Tom and Jacob's quick and total recovery. I find it amazing how God has brought so many "strangers" together and made them prayer partners. Jacob has awakened faith in many and Tom, your walk in faith has keep that faith alive! Blessings and grace to all. You rest in Christ, Love, Annie Asher(Deb and Tom's sister-in-law)

Dear Jacob-
The War Ridge Free Will Baptist Church in Wayside, West Virginia is praying for Jesus to heal you. This little church is where your great-great grandmother Mae Mann attended. I am your cousin Becky and although we have never met I love you and I am praying daily for your healing. I sing a song that says "There's a miracle in the making. One for YOU the Father is working even now. Your prayers have been heard and the answer is on the way. There's a miracle in the making for you today." BELIEVE THAT CADY FAMILY!!

Dear Tom, You have always been an inspiration to me and many other people through life, but I didn't know my brother was an angel, too. I am so proud of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jacob. It's amazing that when you meet someone in your life, you never really know why that person came into your life, but now Jacob's parents know why you were brought into their lives.

Dear Cady Family,
I am sorry you have to wait yet longer. My husband and I were watching Tom and Deb's boys (our nephews) while they were in Delaware. When they came by for the boys, it was hard to see the disappointment in his eyes. He so wants to do this for Jacob! I can tell you that you have some extremely professionally pray-ers here. My classes (which Zach and John are in) here at St. Peters prayed my dad into remission after two failed chemos when he was diagnosed with a very deadly form of leukemia. Shortly after his remission he developed a near fatal lung infection. I e-mailed my kids and my dad is now home and getting stronger everyday. No one prays like these guys and they now are focused on Jacob and "Zach's dad" so I know you are all under God's protection. God Bless You all..Jacob, Tom, families, doctors and nurses..all hands are God's hands when they work with love.

Hi Cady's. After a long day of waiting for word of todays impending procedure, we're a little bummed knowing that the wait continues. The comfort in all this is knowing that Jacob, Tom and the rest of the family have been guided to the best hands on earth by the mighty hand of our Lord. He has truly blessed everyone thus far and the additional wait is His way of making sure the timing is just right for another one of his great miracles. Remember - "Good things come to those who wait". Take comfort in knowing that the prayers for Jake, Tom and the family are flowing in abundance not just here, but obviously everywhere. You are all loved very much by this household and you continue to remain in our daily prayers. In reflecting on all of our current struggles, your optimism, strength and courage through this situation continues to inspire Kris and I. We Love You Guys!!! We'll talk soon and GOD BLESS!

Just wanted to remind you we're praying for you continually. You should be recieving a care package from my family, the Borkosky's and your Y-kidzone friends, Erin and Sue soon.
It is so awesome to see God carrying all of you through this. I'm brought to tears most often, knowing how His grace is empowering all of you. Your family and angel, Tom, are living the example of faith defined by Paul's letter to Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." I don't need to tell you "keep the faith"...

Hello Cady Family!!
I am drawn to your website daily and find myself thinking of you several times throughout my day (I say a little prayer for you at those moments). I admire your courage and faith. Our family prays for Jacob's improved health and your continued strength every evening. Madison, my 3 year old, asks often how her friend Jacob is doing and misses his presence at preschool. She asks Jesus to "take care of my friend, Jacob, and bring him back to my school" at the close of our prayers at bedtime. We pray that the each of you feels the Lord's presence tomorrow and the many days of recovery to follow. May the Lord guide the doctors and watch over Jacob and Tom, and may He hold you in the palm of His hand and reinforce your faith as you travel on this journey. Please know that the Bronder Family and many others from St.Rose and beyond are praying for you all.

With many prayers,

We love you all very much and know that God is present with you and will help you get through the next days and weeks. I also wanted to tell you that

Hi Ron, Chris, Jordan and Jacob: My name is Diana Watt(NAM) and I work with Sue Habercamp and a on occasion with Ron. Sue told me about the web site and I just had to see it. My prayers will be with all of you, I know a bit where you are coming from. My son has had 32 surgeries and there were times when he was incredibly ill and I just didn't know where my strength would come from. Often the strength came straight from Nathan, my son, and more often than not God was there to hold me up when no one else was. It will be good for you to be around other parents who know exactly what you are going through, others can be compassionate and loving but not really understand the place you are in. Right now is a time for you to accept help in whatever form it comes in and not be prideful, this is where you get to let other people be blessed to be a blessing to you. My children and I will pray for you and your family every day. My father has been critical for the last six weeks now and is finally starting to improve he has been prayed for by so many, just keep the faith. It is no secret what God can do, what he's done for others he'll do for you.

I have wanted to leave you a message every time I check for updates but I can never find the right words. Last night we were looking through a box of things that I saved from when the boys were born. I ran across a cute Pooh card that you gave me at my baby shower at work and in it you wrote "Treasure every moment with them, they will grow up fast!" and that was such words of wisdom. Cadys,
It was so good to talk to yesterday. Our continued prayers are with you on a daily basis. Danny said he prays for Jacob every night, and sometimes I think he has a direct line to God. Hopefully the jet ambulance service information we gave you will prove helpful. Our hearts go out to you. I'll get started on the bowling fund-raiser and bank account on Friday when I'm off work. Your faith is an inspiration to us all. We love you guys dearly!

DEAR JACOB AND FAMILY, I AM A CO-WORKER OF YOUR GRANDMA JANE. I WORK AT THE GATHERING PLACE, AS A COOK. I USED TO ABOUT A YEAR AGO, WORK IN THE NURSERY THE SAME AS YOUR GRANDMA. SHE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON TO US AT THE GATHERING PLACE. SHE HAS TOLD US ALL OF YOUR ILLNESS AND YOU MUST KNOW WE ARE ALL PRAYING FOR YOU EVERYDAY. JACOB, PLEASE TRUST THAT GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE TO HANDLE THIS TREMENDOUS CHALLENGE. I KNOW THAT THE LORD HEARS ALL OF OUR PRAYERS AND WILL ANSWER. CONTINUE TO REMAIN STRONG AND MIRACLES WILL HAPPEN. PRAYER IS VERY POWERFUL AS I AM LEARNING. GOD WILL HAVE HIS HAND ON JACOB AND HE WILL BE HEALED. THE LORD IS WITH YOU AND HOLDING YOU CLOSE IN HIS ARMS. THE ROADS YOU HAVE AHEAD MAY SEEM THAT THEY HAVE NO END, BUT REMEMBER THAT GOD IS RIGHT BESIDE YOU HOLDING YOU NEAR. MAY YOU GATHER STRENGTH FROM ALL OF OUR PRAYERS, AND WHEN YOU THINK YOU CAN NOT GO ON, REMEMBER YOU HAVE ALL US THAT WILL BE THERE TO HELP YOU ALONG. JACOB I ONLY KNOW OF YOU FROM YOUR GRANDMA JANE, BUT WE ALL HAVE TO SAY YOUVE BECOME ONE OF OURS, AND WE ALL LOVE YOU. BIG HUGS AND KISSES AND STAY STRONG. GOD BE WITH YOU!!!!

We remember the overload of emotions and decisions when our daughter, Alexis Ann, was diagnosed ATRT of the brain.(She is 3 years post treatment at St. Jude and doing well) Sounds like Jake is getting the best care-you all have done quite a bit a research in just a month. I don't know if you remember us, but I worked with Andrea and Tasha, and we met a few times at Tasha's house. We've been thinking about you ever since Andrea shared the news about Jacob's diagnosis. One of the greatest things about this website is the energy it gives to the family, to know that SO many people are thinking about you. Our freinds have a website on Caringbridge for their son, Drew, who has AML, and who is doing very well. They were constantly amazed by the outpouring of support, and from the looks of your guestbook, you must be feeling the same. I mentioned your families' situation to my freind, and she mentioned it to other freinds, so you have a growing contingency of people in Minnesota all praying for you and watching your progress. Our very best to all of you.

I am praying for Jacob, his family, and his medical team. I have requested prayer for him in my Sunday School class, in my choir rehearsal, and in three Internet sites I frequent: Christian Weight Winners; The Thinking Log; and Weight Watchers. Little Jacob is held in the precious hand of the heavenly father -- there is no better place!

It's bad enough I miss Toledo, but to hear of a friend in need 700 miles away really upsets me. I will keep you all in my prayers. One must not only pray but believe that those prayers are coming true and that is how miracles are granted. Please be strong, strength is what Jacob needs and seeing strong parents will only build his strength. If I can be of any assistance please do not hesistate to ask!
God Bless the whole Cady family. I look forward to many positive entries to be read on this site. I look forward to reading the updates.

I'm so glad the boys were able to get together on Sunday. I'm in awe of your families strength. If anyone can get through this - the Cady family will. Your friends are feeling helpless and are anxious to be there for you, in any way you need. You are in our thoughts and prayers every single day. I'm saving Jacob's site on my desktop and will check it every day. Colin is anxious to come over and visit again, the next time Jacob is feeling up to it!

Dear Chris, Ron, Jordy and Jacob -

We are thinking of you everyday! Hannah had a great time Sunday playing with Jordy (and all the cool toys at the Cady house). Kids tend to be kids despite difficult circumstances. Hannah and I are both wearing the pins that Lori made and it is amazing how many people have asked about them. You have prayers from strangers.

Love you all, Tasha and Hannah
