Adam is proud of you I'm sure.. you will be a nurse and yes, you ARE smart enough!!! :) Adam will see you through it all. You are so strong to go back to school. I took one college course this summer and I had the toughest time with it. I got a good grade on it, but I worry so. Give yourself a pat on the back. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!

Hey Holly that picture you sent of Wyatt is adorable. John said he should be a model. He looks so much like Adam but I can't believe how much in that picture you have of Adam on here he looks so much like Josh to me. I guess those kids just have a good mixture of you and Doug both in them and it just shows in them looking alike. I know this is a tough time of year for you and your family but I love that poem about spending Christmas with Jesus this year. And I hope that you guys take comfort in that.

I too lost my last grandparent this past January. My grandma Ruth was a dear lady to me and I miss her alot. My Logan just went to his Prom; it is hard to believe that they are growing up. I often find myself thinking of your Adam and sadden that he was not able to beat the terrible cancer monster. It is just not fair. I get scared everytime Abbie mentions she is hurting somewhere fearing that it has returned. My stomach turns upside down when I read Adam's opening introduction on this site and the amount of time in between; man does it scare me....A young lady named Ashley just relapsed again after 14 months off chemo and is now facing a transplant....a road I hope we never go down....I know you continue to grieve for your boy and I appreciate how you have been able to share his memory with all of us....

Hope you have a great day! Although I can only imagine how this day (just like Mother's Day for Holly) just isn't quite the same when one of your children are not present. I think of and pray for you guys daily even though I don't write on here very often. I can see the emptiness in your faces when I'm around you guys, even though you try to act happy. I hate so much that you all have to bear this. But, God is in control and always by your side. He'll never leave you nor forsake you. One day we'll understand why Adam did not receive his earthly healing.
Adam is missed very much by many people, I hope you still can see that. I know I miss him! I miss his sheepish/shy grin he always gave me when he would talk to me. What a precious boy!
Doug, I hope you feel Adam's presence on your special day and that Adam will bring you a good dream with him in it. Particulaly one where you and him are fishing and can catch up on what each other's been up too. (Although we already have a good idea.......he's been holding and taking care of all the babies in heaven!)

Oh.. that weaning thing is so hard I know.. luckily Sarah did fine it was me who missed it. I would nurse her like always, but shorter and shorter each time (it was easier on me too.. ouch!!) but once I got her almost weaned she started carrying around this magic marker.. it was like her transition or something. She loved it and wouldn't go anywhere w/o it.. I had to put a piece of tape around it so she couldn't open it.. anyway, now I wish I would have nursed her for another month or so..I missed it so much. but she made it really easy too.
Well, I will be thinking of you all this weekend. We're going to NY for memorial day weekend to be with our families.

Thanks so much for asking Adam to put in a good word for Abbie on her "last" chemo. treatment with Jesus. I am sure he did just that....I pray Jesus told him no more "C"
for Abbie ever! We did get good news from Children's today that her fluids were tested a month post last chemo and everything looked good....hope and pray it stays that way! If possible I would love to come walk on Adam's birthday and help raise money for St. Jude. Hopefully a cure will be found and other children will not have to experience what our children have gone through!

I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to stop by and say "Hi!" Moving has been taking a lot out of me and then there's the always fun part of unpacking everything. Mark my words -- I am NEVER moving again. And if I have to, I'm renting a moving company.

I had no idea *Adam's* favorite color was green. This Friday when we wear green for St. Patty's Day I'll be thinking of him even more than I do on a normal basis. Will you be taking pictures of his grave all decorated? I'd love to see what it looks like.

I happened to glance at your photo album before I signed the guestbook. Wyatt is a little cutie! And of course I love seeing every picture of *Adam* that you post. Thanks for sharing, hon!

That's great about the tooth!!! Every kid is so different huh?! Not only in personalities, but when they first walk, talk, get a tooth, lose a tooth.. Christian didn't start losing his teeth until the summer between first and second grade.. then my Sarah lost her first one during her first week at kindergarten! crazy! and the two couldn't be more different too.. Christian is so easy going, then we have Sarah.. "attitude in ruffles". But I'm glad she is strong willed too!
I've been thinking of Adam and keeping him in my heart. I'm sorry I haven't been by much.. the kids have this week off from school and they are busy having playdates and going to the movies with friends and on top of it all Christian's team is still in the bball tourmament, so practices are still going on, but it's over with SUnday. I hope they win!
God Bless you all!!! I'm sure ADam is laughing at you chasing around that little one. Mom's gettin' her excersise that's for sure!!! :)

Sorry it has been so long since I have written but Taylor is kind of like Wyatt, freaks when you leave the room or when I put her down, but I feel the same way you do when she is crawling and walking she will not want to be touched. I am so so sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. I did not know him but death is horrible when it happens to anybody especially someone so young. I am definitely praying for the whole family. As am I ever praying for you. My love for my kids grows everyday I cannot imagine having to live without one. On a little brighter note I don't know if you have been to that new shoe store out by Walmart but I took Taylor out there the other day to get her some shoes and I saw camoflauge shoes for little boys her age, if I knew what size Wyatt was wearing I would have gotten him some. But I instantly thought of Adam and Wyatt when I saw them. Well Taylor is crying gotta go but if you guys need anything let us know and tell Doug I am so sorry.

I didn't realize how long it's been since I last wrote on here. I'm very sorry.
You know you don't have to talk me into anything. I'm Honored that you would ask me to walk the 15k with you!! Anything for Adam!!! Although you have much longer legs and a bigger stride than me, with my short legs I'll have to jog to keep up with you!!! : ) You may have to scrape me up off the pavement though by the time we reach the finish line. Hey, the way I see it, if Adam put up with all those years of everything he went through, I think I can muster up the strength and sweat for a couple of hours.
