Cute and sweet as always! Midnight looks like an awesome cat! Our cat tries it's best to stay away from Max-- there are reasons for that! No, he tried to be nice to her but sometimes she's had enough before he is done.
Yay- for the cardio appointment. Great news!
Janna's hair is long and she is getting tall. Love all the pictures.

So glad to hear the good news with the cardio. It seems she was just a baby and now she's almost 5!! Good to hear she's using her words more. It just goes up from there. Glad Grandpa is doing better. My dad had a stroke on Oct. 25th so we've been doing all the rehab too. He's home and doing much better, thank the Lord. I have so much to be thankful for and being a part of Janna's life has been such a blessing. Please continue to send me updates. Open house downtown Mt. Olive is Friday. Come & see us if she can stay up that late. If not, have a wonderful Christmas!!

Janna is like (my) Joe in the fact they have not grown much. Joe is small and I don't think he has grown for a while. Very interesting about the zinc levels.

You are so beautiful. I believe that this year is going to prove to be a wonderful one for you. You seem to be such a go-getter.
Don't worry about being afraid of the doctor's. My son; JC; was terrified of them. When he had his heart surgery (at age 6), we let him take his cassette player with him so that he wouldn't be afraid. And the nurses were so sweet. They had his "Randy Travis" cassettes playing for him when he woke up in recovery. That way he woke up to familiar sounds and was not scared by all the tubes and machines that were around him.
We will keep Janna and her family in our prayers.

Happy Belated Birthday Janna!! We're just checking in. Hope the visit with the hemotologist turns out well. AUstin went through something like this for a while at the very same age. As did Kennedy! I can not believe how big Janna is! She looks like she has grown a lot since your last update. I love that pretty dress in the first few photos. Although, I love all her pictures. She is so darn cute! Great job on the eval. Sounds like she is keeping up there. Glad she at least qualifies for speech. Hopefully it won't be a long road until she actually gets it. He doesn't have Downs Syndrome, but he is 26 years old and only about 1-2 years mentally. I know how special these "special angels" are. My brother is so loving and just a sweet person. Praise God!!! I am so glad to hear that Janna is doing better. I had not been able to get on the computer all day to see how she was and then tonight at our bible study we lifted Janna up and just ask God to bless you all. As soon as everyone left I had to check to see if there was any updates and I am so glad I did. I know that God loves Janna and He will take care of her, she is such a blessing to so many people, including me and I've never met her in person, she is just so precious though. Oh AJ, I had no idea that Janna was going through all of this. I hadn't heard anything (on downsyn) since the UTI and was wondering how she was doing. For some reason God lead me to your web site. Even though I have never met Janna, I just love her. Her pictures always bring a smile to my face, she is so precious and I know that God has a plan for her it would just be much easier on us if He would reveal his plans to us. AJ I have admired your faith and trust in God and I pray that you will always keep that faith and I will be praying for your sweet precious angel, Janna. My heart aches for Rylee and Savannah's family, but I know that our Heavenly Father had plans for them as he does for so many other loved ones. We do not know what his plans are for us, but as long as we hold fast and allow the Lord to lead us we will not go wrong. I can not say that I know how any of these families feel because I have been blessed with 2 wonderful adult children. I do know that time passes and the healing process begins, but the feeling of not having that loved one near never goes away. By the grace of our Heavenly Father the emptiness is filled with his powerful love. Only by the grace of God can anyone get through it. Hi, I found your webpage on the Downsyn forum. Your daughter is beautiful. We just found our baby girl has DS. Kylee was born 4/9/05. They suspected it in the hosp, and finally confirmed it with a blood test yesterday. I had waited to do the test. I guess I didn't want to believe it. I would love to email with you since our babies are so close in age. I wasn't able to find an email for you, unless I just couldn't see it. I am really not all there right now. I am 24 years old and have a 19 month old and she does NOT have DS. Just to talk with somebody would be great!! Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

AJ, I am Trina Chase's mom. She told me about Janna. She is beautiful and so special. My son, JC, has Down's. He was born with a hole between the chambers of his heart and a leaky valve. They did not detect it til he was six years old. They did surgery two weeks before his seventh birthday. He is now 22 years old and can do anything he wants to do. I will keep Janna and your family in my prayers.
