Hi Everyone!

Everything is still going stupendously! I still feel very healthy and vivacious this summer and am of course very busy. I go back to Mayo for my tests and scans in the first part of August. It's a little different this time because I switched from 3 month scans to about 4 1/2 months, but I have no reason not to expect the same results I have gotten in the last year and 9 months!

In the meantime, I am loving my internship with the American Cancer Society. I work with multiple Relay for Life events in the metro area - planning them, working with volunteers, and getting out in the community. I am also on the committee for the Relay for Life All Youth Summit where we will draw high school and college students from the 4 state area into a conference and training on how to become more involved with the Relay.

I am also the University of Minnesota (5th District)'s Celebration on the Hill Ambassador. I will be going to the National Relay for Life representing my district and carrying the message of so many survivors and family members to Washington D.C. - we need more cancer research funding!!! I am so excited to have my mom join me on this trip in September where we will be camped out on the Capital Mall showing our Legislature how important finding a cure for cancer is to so many. Thanks for continuing to check up on me and I look forward to updating my site with great 4 1/2 month scan results and a farewell before I go study abroad at the University of Lancaster in England.
