Hi Jenna: You probably don't remember me. I'm Joel Soukup's Mom. We met in Rochester at the hospital when you and Joel were going through treatments. Anyway, hope you're doing great!! Joel is scheduled for a six-month checkup on April 17th. He's been doing really well and is finishing his second year of college at CLC in Brainerd with plans of transferring to St. Cloud State in the fall.

I am very active in our local Relay for Life and I had mentioned to our team leaders at the last meeting that I knew "someone" who is very active, a survivor, and a wonderful inspiration, who I would check with to see if she would be interested in being our featured speaker at our Relay on June 22nd in Pine River. Of course, that "someone" is you. Do you think you would be interested??? We try to have a survivor as our featured speaker and it seems so meaningful to have a young person. The most Joel will do is when they introduce the survivors and make a couple laps around the track. I'm so proud of all you have done for the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. HAPPY 4th of July . My kids are headed back to school David will be at Tech for 2 summer classes and Julie is in the lab till fall at Princeton. She is vamping a fall course she will teach in Environ Sci-Rocks. I am happy to have the summer off till the end of Aug. Sounds like the fall will be a real learning experience abroad.
