Just poping in to say HELLO and let you all know that I am thinking of you and praying for you all daily. I read the journal and had tears in my eyes about Ethan, the doctors told us too, that there really wasn't anything more that they could do for Marshall,(his brain hemorrhage). They said we will do surgery and see what happens but be prepared for the worst......Well what more can I say that this child is a walking, talking, breathing MIRCALE. He had a massive hemorrhage the left side of his brain was so swollen you couldn't see the right on the CT scan. My heart just over flows with joy these days, I thank God every night when I go to bed and I thank him every morning when I wake.
Anyway enough about us...I can't wait to hear about all the fun that you all had!!! How is Andrew sleeping these days?? Nate has had two good nights so far and I am sure I just jinxed it so I better hurry and get to bed....Pray for us that all these storm stay AWAY!!!

HI Guys....
YES can you believe it 2 YEARS!!! Ours will be in September, we are heading up for out 2 w/Dr. Wagner in Sept. But I have to tell you Dr. Orchard was one of our favorite doctors.
And Terri....don't feel bad it seems that spongebob has lost his hold on Nathan.....:o( it seems that we too must put him in the bes with us if we all want to get a goodnight sleep. Can't figure out what happened he was sleeping all night in his SB bed, now like clock work he is up at 3:30!!! It's like he hates to sleep he is still up now and has been since 8 this morning and NO NAP today Ughh!!!
Marshall is really enjoying this new karate school. I sure hope Nathan discoves words soon....he says a lot of words just hard to understand most of them.
Well I hope that you all have a great time this weekend.
Gotta go jump in the tub....while I have the chance ;o)

Loved the picture of Bailey on the home page. We are waiting Amelia's recital is on the 11th of June. She is dancing to (tap) Amazing Creator and ballet is The Healing One. She has tap pretty much down she loves tap more than ballet. I am so happy to hear that everyone is so busy. We just put up a nice pool, but can't get Nathan to like it the water right now is real cold and he hates it!! Hope it gets better. Well have to run chunk 'em in the tub then bed.

Hello all hope you all are doing good. Thought I would stop in and let you know that I was thinking about everyone today. I know you said that Andrew is still not sleeping all night so know that I am thinking and feel for you. I thought Nathan would never sleep throught the night. I know that we will probably have trouble with him when we add on and he and Amelia no longer share a room. He is so used to sleeping in the room with some one. He has been doing it his whole life especially since we spent 7 months at the RMD House where we all share a bedroom! I am looking forward to a week and a half off of not getting up at 5:30. Then I won't have to get up to early but will need to be up and at'em at 7:30 or earlier to get everyone ready for camp(s). I am just so happy to get this chance to put each of them in a camp!!!
Well hope that you all get to have a lot of fun this summer. I have to tell you that I love the picture on the home page. . . Boy oh boy how they grow. Andrew sure has grown a lot. I can remember you strolling him around the hospital. I can't believe that it has been almost two years since those days.....boy am I ever glad though. Well don't want to write a novel here. Just know that I am thinking of you all very often and saying daily prayers for Bailey and ALL of you!!!

Hello all. First let me say that you missed out on the crawfish, we love them. As for tasteing like crabs well....not too sure but if you like boiled crabs and shrimp I don't see why you wouldn't like crawfish. Of course we like them well seasoned and after 7 months in Minnesota we know what you all think seasoning is =).
As for Marshall I am just glad that he is here,and will take whatever the Lord throw in our path!!!I will be an expert in almost all fields of "doctorhood". I am really considering on going back to school to be a nurse...definatly in the pediatric field. The bactrium Marshall stopped taking before his year was up and did the pantanamean (SP???)But now at any sign of a cold or anythign we will automaticly go back on it. I am sure that when the school year starts again we will see him lots more with all the viruses floating around. Oh Well you do what you have to do...as for that fact we are fixing to take Nathan to an allergist... I am so tired of wiping the disgusting nose, I think he might go maybe two or three days a month where it is not running...Does it ever end??? How are all the kids doing. Hope Andrew is sleeping through the night that makes a world of difference!! Take care and give all the kiddos big hugs from us, we will be up some time in Sept. I think around the 9th.

It is so good to hear that Bailey's check-up went well. Sounds like she is really liking school and her grades look awesome! I am glad that Rachel is feeling a little better. I had Mono when I was 15. I missed alot of school and it was something I would not wish on anybody! You just want to sleep all the time! It was not fun. I will be praying for Andrew, that he will start to sleep at night for you. My youngest Cody was hard to get to sleep at night as well. My heart goes out to you, but as the old saying goes, this to shall pass. Cody is 10 now and sleeps good at night, but he still gets up early in the mornings though. Hopefully when he becomes a teenager that will change. It takes a crane to get Johnathan out of bed in the mornings. That is Awesome about the update on the other Rachel. Wow! that is a miracle! God is good all the time and all the time God is good! I will continue to pray for her as well as Ethan and Tucker. Keeping you and your family in my prayers always.

It's great how fast they bounce back isn't it? I wish the parents bounced back as fast. Bailey sounds like one amazing little girl. She wants to do it all. Im sorry that your other two have been under the weather. I hope they get to feeling better soon. As for the not sleeping I can relate to that. Samantha's new thing is not going to bed at all. She wants to just stay up. I'm sure you know about this but just in case you dont, when I need to catch up on sleep I give Samantha a tsp of Benadryl to help her go to sleep. We did this in the hospital and I checked with her doctor. I give it once or twice a week, just when I'm too pooped to wrestle her to bed. I give it an hour before she goes to bed and it works like a charm. Didn't know if you would want to try this with your little man whose not sleeping. Take care and keep enjoying life. I'll pray for your three friends too.

It was good to hear that Bailey had a nice birthday along with Andrew. I am praying that Bailey's pain in her back and head ache goes away. That is awesome to see that she is 18 months post transplant. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! I also think about Johnathan's future and I to have to remind myself to take one day at a time. I am also glad to that I can trust in God, for he holds the future and He is control. I feel blessed as well, that Johnathan is still here. Keeping you and you family in my prayers always.

I am so glad to hear that things are "Normal" at your house. I swear your house sounds just like mine. I guess we are all "normal", it sure dose feel great to be normal again!!!Andrew sounds a lot like Nathan. Nathan won't be two till the end of July, he doesn't talk as well as the older two did when they were his age. Amelia was talking in full sentences by the time she was 2. Maybe it is because they are the babies of the family. I do have to tell you though, the SpongeBob toddler Bed is still working. I am so proud to say that Nathan sleeps ALLLLLLLLLL NIIIIIGGGGHTTT LLLLLLOOOONNNNGGG!!!!!!! It has been heaven to go to sleep at night and get a full nights sleep.
Well gotta run but please tell Bailey that we are thinking of her and continuing to keep her in our prayers, as all of you too!!!

I love the picture on the front page what a beautiful picture. Those eyes just sparkle and say it ALL!! Sorry we have been out of touch but our computer has crashed and I am trying to get it up and running again!! The kids are doing pretty good except for the yucky noses! I am hoping to get some where to update our site soon too.
Amelia is home today and said to tell Bailey Hello for her. She and I may be flying in to Minnesota in the first part of April for her yearly BM biopsy with Dr. Wagner. I will let you know if and when that happens. May have to wait a while as mom might need surgery in a few weeks! Had a cnacer test come back slightly elavated and now I need to see the onchologist (Gyno).
Well have to run take care of kids take care. . .

Thank you for your positive and uplifting words. You have made my heart feel a little lighter today. I am so glad that Bailey is doing well, in spite of a cold. Hi every one just stopping in to say HI. Hope that all is well on your end. We are all on the mend. Nathan went to the doc. today for a fever but everything came back negative and it is more likly a virus that needs to run its course. Amelia's ears are on the mend and she is running around with more energy than anyone.
Marshall had a blast on Friday night I am hoping to get the pictures up soon. Just never can figure out where all the time goes?!?!!! Well I really hope that things there are all doing well. That is so neat that you and Bailey were interviewed on the radio! Before Johnathan's BMT, a radio station WKLH was having a fund raiser for Childrens hospital here in wisconsin. They interviewed Johnathan and I. Johnathan seemed like a pro and I was so nervous I couldn't think! Then when it was over, I started thinking about all this stuff I could have said. So, I can totally relate. I hope everyone in your house is starting to feel better. I hope Bailey's fever is gone as well. You and your family remain in my prayers.

Hope all is well on your end. We are finally on the mend here. Marshall returned to karate to get his stipe on his belt he was so happy! He has done great. Amelia finally got that cast off after 1 week shy of 6 months! Finally got approval for growth hormones should start those in a week or two. See God does answer prayers. I have tried to preach patience to Marshall, you would think he would have learned that after spending 5 months in a hospital room and never going out side for 5 months. I keep telling him good things come to those who WAIT and boy have we waited ;>)
Bailey you look great with those Ice skates on. We don't get to EVER do that here!!Amelia said to give you a big hug from her. Keep up the great work and I will continue to keep you and your whole family in my thoughts and prayers!!!

I've learned way more than I ever wanted to know. Samantha's doctor said that the spleen was what sucked up the old cells, White, red, platelet, and etc. Now that she doesn't have a spleen her counts will always be high because the old cells dont have the spleen to suck them up anymore. They just get reabsorbed into the blood stream. We are 2 weeks from being cyclosporian free. Wow it's so hard to believe that our babies are doing so awesome. I am too give thanks to God several times a day.

Terri, I goofed oopppss. I had both pages open and signed Baileys by mistake. My heart goes out to Marshall and Amelia, what a wonderful family. You can keep the 25 below weather. We are wearing short pants now and flowers are blooming. That is scary that you had to find out about the vaccines on your own. Ethan had his vaccines two months before his splenectomy. Tell Bailey that Ethan has the picture she drew for him on our fridge. He mentioned how nice that was for her to draw him a picture. We will no the results of the 5 donors a week from today. Our next drs appt. will be next Tuesd. Thank you for all of the kind words and support you have given us. Give hugs to all for us.

Thank you for those those uplifting words in your journal. It really gave me the strength to just go on and not worry so much.(My son John is 154 days post transplant.) John is doing pretty good at this point, and has hit a few bumps in the road since we have been home. But I have to keep reminding myself how far God has brought John. I found you at Zach D in NJ's CB page. And I an so glad I did...Early morning I do my CB surfing, before the kids wake up,but despite the onslaught of toddlers I HAD to keep reading.. The tears were running freely as I read the current entry. You have put the nail on the head, YOU are ME! I always had faith but never "felt" it. When my little blessing Kylie Jae was born I actually turned my back to God, but just briefly, and in his unconditional glory He took me back with arms wide open... It has been a L-O-N-G five years but He has carried me in my worst times and lifted me up in celebration during the best. My heart will always be heavy with saddness for the path my family has been put on. my daughter especially BUT I have faith that this is the was is it SUPPOSED to be, there are lessons to be learned in this and as long as I don't fight it or question His purpose in all this, we will be fine. Thy kingdom come , Thy will be done...Thank you you speaking my mind for me...I just couldent put it into words myself...
Kylie was the sign I have been searching for all my life. My message from God that He is there, He is in charge, and that He loves me. He knew that I needed the insight and prespective as sick child would bring me. I just sat and read your journal update and had tears streaming down my face, You truly hit home on a lot of things, in many ways I KNOW we are so much a like. We spent 5 months on unit 4A, Marshall Never left the hospital. I never really wanted to get close to any of the families, I never knew if they would be there in the morning or not. There was a time we didn't even think Marshall would make it through the night and here he is a year later doing great. . .we were both blessed with TRUE miracles!!! I continue to keep you and your family close to my heart and in my daily prayers!!! Thanks for such a wonderful journal entry.

Because I live in Ramsey, I have known about Bailey for quite awhile. I had actually tried to find a CaringBridge site for her over a year ago, but no luck (now I know why -- there wasn't one)! I was so glad when I finally found a link, and even more glad to read about what a tremendous recovery she has made. How wonderful! I will continue to keep her in my prayers.

I also wanted to let you know that there is a swim team called the Jets in Elk River that you might want to check out. It's actually a lot closer than Blaine. I don't know the specifics, but it's at Vandeberg Middle School. Good luck!

Hi Terri, Oh how I wish we were closer!! I would love to spend Thanksgiving with you all at the hospital. I spent Thanksgiving last year there with Marshall and had a hamburger for lunch. It didn't feel much like thanksgiving. I will start now saving some money and will send you some let me know if you put this together I definatly want to contribute some way afte all we spent many holidays on unit 4A. As we were inpatient for 5 months (9-11 to 2-14). My heart goes out to the families there.
I too love this time of the year... FALL...but here in South east Louisianna it sure doesn't feel like fall when the temperature is still in the 90's. Send Us a COLD front!! I love halloween too, so much not sure but we may have our first ever halloween party here at the house.
Marshall has read all of the Captin underpants book's but he is now into the magic tree house books. He's only read one so far, buffalo before breakfast. Look forward to seeing you soon. I can't believe that it is almost a year ago that we were neighbors on unit 4A. Congrats on the great check up!!

By the end on my one mile walk the weight should have just melted off of me..........NO SUCH LUCK. I think the reason that the song keeps playing is due to the position of the Zeoflick. You have it as part of the journal, instead of at the top portion (the intro message). So it shows up through every journal history. That is why it is on the journal history. If you want to correct it, I would think that all you would need to do is move the Zeoflick to the Into Message part. I am by no way a computer wiz. But I think that, that is why this is happening. Just thought I would let you know that and Not let you stress out over it too long!!!! Hugs and love to all. I too have a child that usually keeps me up at night although he has only awaken once in the past two nights for about 15 minutes. but he is up every morning at 5 to 5:30 for a bottle and he will be a year next week!!!

Hi Terri, I just read what you wrote on Marshall and Amelia's website........Well the only scent of candels that I burn here is "Creme Brulee`" They are made here locally and Just one or two make your whole house smell like you are cooking something great ( probably not the best for trying to lose weight!!;>) ) I am going to get some for you and send them to you and any time you want more just let me know!! They are great!! And I love coffee! After all I'm from the city known for it's coffee and beignet's (New Orleans), but I don't think I have ever had Creme brulee flavored. I bet it is great. Thank you so much for the inspiring message in Samantha's journal. I forget sometimes that we're not the only ones out there fighting to survive. It means a lot to know that there are people praying. I have a son with hemophilia so I know the frustration with numerous pokes to find a vein. One thing that has helped us a little is emla cream. It numbs the skin. Did not know if you knew about it or not. We did not at 1st and it does seem to help. He is only 19 months so it is hard because his veins are just small. Keep faith!

Hello Bailey and family!!
I was so happy to see your entry in Tori's website! I have looked a few times trying to find a website for Bailey to see how she's been doing and I wasn't sure if you were still connected to the Ramsey Fire Dept. I am so happy that Bailey is doing well. I haven't seen you guys since last year on the wonderful 5B so I'll have to read your journal history and catch up! I'm sure it's been a long journey for your family but the worst is over now. How long is treatment time for you or are you done? Tori still has treatments until Sept '05. Well, now that life is getting a little more "normal", maybe we could get together for lunch or something. I'm going to have a 2nd annual "Tori's Hope Blood Drive" at the Andover Fire Station #1 again, probably in June. Last year's turn out was amazing. It was mostly firefighters, cops, and paramedics from the area and I had to turn away about 150 people. I was shocked! You had one for Bailey too didn't you? I think it was too soon after Tori's to give blood but we could always do a blood drive for both if you want. I'm sure that you guys are busy with life but if I plan it for Tori, I would love to add Bailey's name on it too. You'll have to let me know if that would be ok or what you think!!! Anyway, I'm so glad that everything is going so well and I'll be checking on her often!
