Oh My Gosh! Its been awhile since we wrote anything. We have been so busy since the baby came. Everyone is doing real good. Jaeleah is in Third Grade now and she is loving it everyday. She has started Dance Class also again this year. We are back in business. Im still trying to get back in to the swing of things. We continue going to the doctor twice a week, it was much easier in the summer when we would go once a week but hey who am i to complain. She continues to get her chemo treatment, we are in week 78 of 120. We are almost halfway finished, Jaeleah and I are excited because week 80 is coming up. Soon my big girl will be 9 years old on November 25th. She enjoys playing with her baby brother and when she talks to him he recognizes her voice and smiles. Its so amazing how he knows her voice and will smile and laugh. I told her once he gets big and is able to talk and walk she wont wanna be around. But J is different, she loves him so much. She trys to act like me. HA! It's something how I cant never think of what to write on here but so much goes on daily. Well Jaeleah and her dad will be traveling back to St.Jude in Memphis on Sept.24-25th so please pray for them on there trip to and from. She is going for a spinal tap procedure. She knows everything will be fine, she just worries about her being sick afterwards. For some strange reason in the past she would get nauseated after procedures in memphis and here at home she never got sick and they use the same medicine. But I have to tell them to give her some Benadryl before procedure to make her feel better. I think her dad would appreciate that too, because it use to be a handful on me after procedures because Im pulling a wagon with her and trying to hold other materials and shes crying she has to throw up, so I have to rush her to the nearest restroom with everything in tow. It was hard is all I can say, but we made it. We may have had several accidents but thank god for benadryl. Now we've just noticed a rash of bumps on the side of her face that sometimes itches her when out in the sun, the nurse told us its a reaction most kids who get the methotrexate chemo or the steroid dexamethasone. But we have to just take it easy. Jaeleah and I went to the movies this past Sunday with some kids who she met at camp this summer and afterwards we went for ice cream at Marble Slab. In the movies J kept saying she was thirsty, I said you'll be ok wait till after the movies because a drink is what 3or4 dollars. So we went for ice cream and at Marble Slab its not cheap, so I get her what she wants right. I got her a small cup of ice cream and myself a larger cup with a cone filling, the total was $9. About maybe 10 mins. later J says this ice cream is too cold, I said girl ice cream is suppose to be cold, she said I dont want anymore. Oh my goodness I could have screamed but I just said do what you want with it and you know what she did ,THROWED IT IN THE TRASH!!! I Betcha I finished mine though. But thats Jaeleah! Well Im getting sleepy again and it is 3:30 am and Im up typing. The baby is with his great grandmother and I got a chance to sleep ,oh it felt good but i wake up alot and miss him being next to me, so thats why im woke now. But i did get some rest a little today . Today my darling made 2 months well it was yesterday but he got his shots today. Oh! I cried, He received 3 shots. Oh! The Pain. Everything is oh so new again , I keep telling people im still trying to catch on to things. Even rolling the stroller is new. Well Goodnite All and God Bless.

Hello Family and Friends,

Im sorry its been awhile since we last wrote, but we've been very busy. Congratulations to us, our new bundle of joy arrived on July 12,2006 at 7:30 pm, weighing 6lbs 6.5ozs and 20 inches long. Yall he is so adorable. I just love looking at him and smelling him. He is truly a blessing from God. My Big Baby is doing awesome as well. She is attending Day Camp this week with the Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. She has her little friend from the last camp she met with her at this one , so she is excited. She has been bowling, fishing and rock climbing. Wow! I've never done those things as a child and its exciting for me to know that she has a chance to do those things. I've been trying to keep strong for my two babies. My Cousin teases me that I have two now. But they are a joy. Grandma Janice is just as excited as I am. But Big Sister Jaeleah takes good care of her baby brother. Jaeleah will be starting Third Grade on August 14th. She is ready for school already. That is a blessing because some kids are not thinking about school. She has been having a wonderful summer, she swims whenever she has a chance since she got her new pool. Well Im going to end here and check back soon. I want to thank our good friend Mrs. Tonya Nason for sprucing up Jaeleahs web page. She adds the glittery scenes to her page, I havent learned all that new stuff yet. Thanks Tonya.

Hello Everyone!

I've been so lonely for the past week. My big girl is away at Camp. This was her first time away from home with strangers in a new place. She doesn't even call home. I have to call her and check on her. She is having so much fun she says, thats why she hasn't had a chance to call. Can you believe that! She told me on yesterday that they went to a Rodeo and the day before that they went horseback riding and she won the competition. She says shes taking pictures and has met some new friends. Im just glad shes having a good time and feeling good. She comes home tommorrow and I cant wait. This past weekend was the Childrens Miracle Network Telethon and Raffling of the Miracle Mansion. They aired Jaeleah and I on the telethon, they told her story and an interview we had with the news reporter. She was one of the Miracle Kids for the year. Maybe next year she can go live on television with the telethon. Jaeleah leaves me again next month but not overnite this time for Camp Care (its a camp for cancer kids) I drop her off in the morning and pick her up in the evenings. She says mom what if you go have the baby while Im at camp. The Child Life Specailist at the hospital told her she would come pick her up and bring her to me. Ha!! Yes it is almost that time , Im ready to see lil man. I was just telling my aunt gail the other day, its been so long since I've taken care of a baby. Im kind of scared but my big helper will be there for me. OH!! If you all havent heard my little princess is going to the third grade, she is moving on up. Were going to have to work hard now, shes going to be learning new things and its going to be moving fast. I told her she may need a tutor to help her with that math. We also had our trip to St.Jude/Memphis several weeks ago and everything went well, she had an X-ray that came back good and she also had a lumbar puncture which also went well. Everyone up there said she was looking good. The good news to me is that we dont have to go back until September. Well Im going to end here because Im lost for words. If I think of anything else I will let you all know. We Love you all and God Bless.

Love Crystal, Jaeleah ,and Lil Zuriel Jr.(Yeah, thats his name)

Hello,

Well, I must say Jaeleah is doing well. Jaeleah finished her 3rd year Recital this past Saturday, she was an angel. Even though she had a fall the sunday before last off of a scooter, she was able to perform at the recital. Afterwards we celebrated by going out to eat at Joe's Crabshack. We also were able to go to the 2006 Fishin' Galore in Clinton,La last month. We didnt get to fish because it was so windy. She brought her best friend Letrece and her brother along. They made sand art,ate and played with the pet alligator and dogs. Next year we will be there on time so that the kids can fish and have a good time. It's coming close to that time, when the kids will be out of school and everywhere. Jaeleah cant wait, she is planning on attending several camps this summer. One of the camps begin June 3-9 and she has to stay for a week, shes excited but im frightened. But there are plenty of nurses and staff there. I believe its going to be somewhere up north Louisiana. The second camp is a week as well but she doesnt stay over night, thank god.(LOL) I told her Im going to miss her while she is gone. She says mom dont worry I will be OK. Then she plans on leaving me in July to go to Disney World with her best friend Letrece. I told her I will see, thats when her baby brother is arriving and I know she doesnt want to miss that. Im having a baby shower at the end of this month at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Brusly,Louisiana. All family and friends are invited to join us, like told some of my family if you do not have money to buy a gift, thats okay , just show up!! I wont be upset. Its May 28th (Sunday) from 3pm to 5pm. Call me if you need directions, (225)279-5623. If you dont know, we are having a BOY!! Jaeleah is still riding her bike, she is also trying to learn how to knit. That is her new craft for the month. Coming up in June 3-4 the Childrens Miracle Network will be airing the drawing for the 2006 Miracle Mansion and you will see your little star on TV, so stay tuned to channel 2 WBRZ (louisiana) Im not sure if it will air in other states. Please also friends and family keep our friends in Mississippi (The Nason Family) in your prayers. They are back in Memphis and need your prayers. You can check there webpage out, the link is on the bottom of Jaeleahs page. Thanks you all, lets just pray for everyone, we all need it.
Pray for us as we travel to Memphis on May 23-24. Jaeleah is going for X-rays and a bone biopsy. Pray everything goes well.

Well Hello Family and Friends!!!

I must say it has been awhile since I last wrote on jaeleah's page. We've been busy with school and trips to the hospital. We were admitted into the hospital on 03/13/06 and discharged 03/21/06 because Jaeleah had a sinus infection/pneumonia. We went in with a temp of 102.7, I was like oh my goodness. She stayed up there for some days but finally came down to normal but was still having earaches and a terrible cough. She still today has the cough, which she takes breathing treatments 3x's a day and antibotics to clear her up but she is strong and doing well. She just really misses going to school and dance class. She hates not being able to see her friends. Her best friend Letrece looks for her everyday. Jaeleah and I are some what upset because we were wishing to have the new addition to our family be a GIRL but unfortunately it is A BOY!!! So help me out and give me some boys names. Jaeleah and Mom were so excited sitting there looking at the ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat. Mom was hoping for twins. Can you believe that! I am due on July 21, 2006. Our favorite song to sing in the car is "By his stripes, I am Healed". Jaeleah's recital will be coming up soon, so she is extra excited about it. She will be Ms. Jamaica. As of now the recital will be May 6. We've been busy with her so much, at school she was selling crawfish raffle tickets for $1 chance at 100 lbs of live crawfish. For Girl Scouts they were selling cookies and she wants to sell everything. But she was able to receive her patch for selling over 100 boxes of cookies. She was so happy. Jaeleah and her friends keep me busy, her best friend was playing basketball for the school and last Saturday was there last game, jae made everyone except one. I wish she would have tried out for the team also but I think she was scared. It was not rough or no pushing at all, she could have did it. I told her maybe next year with those long legs of hers. We went shooting the ball but she just couldnt make it, Im gonna get her a goal to practice on at home. They also beg me to go get their nails manicured, they both love the french manicure and everyone thinks it's so cute.Jaeleah has her Dance Recital on May 6,2006 at 2pm in Plaquemine,La at the Iberville Civic Center. So all Family and Friends who are near may attend, she would love to see you there. We also have the annual Fishing Galore in Clinton,La on April 29th. But Im going to end here. Im kinda tired of typing and I dont know what else to say but GOD BLESS and WE LOVE YOU ALL. Thanks for the prayers!!!

Hello Family and Friends, Well its been awhile since we last wrote anything. We have been so busy with school, going to the hospital and just everyday life. Well since December , which i think is the last time we wrote, we have been in the hospital twice. We recently were discharged because Jaeleah had a fever and was vomitting. We stayed in the hospital for about a week, jaeleah became very bored and restless and was so ready to go home. She was so excited the night we went home. Just the night when my mom was coming to give me a break , they discharged us. Jaeleah returned to school on yesterday after being out for two weeks due to her blood count being low and admittance into the hospital. Did you all hear about the new superstar in town. Well it is Jaeleah Hart. Jaeleah was chosen to be Ms. June in the 2006 Children's Miracle Network Calendar/St. Jude Dream House Giveaway. She also this week did a photoshoot/commercial for CMN which will begin to air wednsday of next week on i believe is channel 9(7)WAFB in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sorry Out of Towners!! We were so excited, she lived a day in the life of an actress. We have so much to be thankful for and blessed about. Jaeleah was also chosen Hero of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society/New Orleans,Metairie Chapter. COOL!! I dont know much about that one yet but will let you know more soon. She is everywhere, her name is being talked about all over the state. Just today I've heard a lady out of West Feliciana Parish is doing a bike-a-thon in June 2006 in honor of Jaeleah. We dont even know of her but will hopefully meet her soon. Jaeleah will be going to Memphis On Feb.5th-8th for normal checkup, MRI, spinal tap and x-rays of her spine. So please pray all goes well which we all know they will. Today Jaeleah went to her first eye appointment, she was complaining about not being able to read small print in school books. She had a little bit of astigmatism in her right eye but we will see about getting her some glasses soon, she really wants them. Because she reads and writes all day long. Sorry I dont have any up to date pictures on the site but will try and get some soon. I actually do but they were not taken on my camera, I will have to scan them on my computer. Jaeleah's favorite thing to do now is arts and crafts, she has my mom go to the store almost every other day for new crafts. Just today we were at hobby lobby picking up new crafts for her to keep busy. I told my mom she started this, so you guys know who spoils her. Maw Maw and Pa Pa. Well it is past my bed time and I have to get up early and get us both ready for school so God Bless and We Love You. Keep Us in your Prayers!!

Hello and Merry Christmas,

Oh my goodness, we have been so busy. Yippee! We were able to go to Walt Disney World. We got out of the hospital just in time to go on our trip, her blood count had been low and she had fever but just the day before the trips departure the doctor came in the hospital room and said pack your bags, her count had went up to 1300. We were so excited, it was our first vacation together ever. We had so much fun and met alot of new friends, we even had an radio interview with Kidd Kraddick on the Morning Show. (Its a radio station in Dallas, I think 96.1FM) Hey but guess what Jaeleah also was chosen to be on a billboard for the show, the billboard will be up in Dallas unfortunately.(Sorry) We won't even get to see it but they are going to mail us a picture. We did get to see how it will look. We even, well jaeleah was chosen also to be Ms. June of the Childrens Miracle Network Calender this year, so if you brought a ticket for the St.Jude Dream Home, you will receive a calendar. She looked so beautiful on the picture. I try to tell her everyday that she is beautiful. We had a little argument the other morning, i wanted her to go without her wig and she didnt. She cried and cried but i thought it was because she was scared what the other children may think but she wasnt scared , she just really likes to wear her wig. Hey! Does everybody like our christmas picture, Can anyone guess who the Santa Claus is? He is a wonderful man. Christmas is coming up and Jaeleah is ready, she made her wish list and sent it off. Thanks to the Cancer Services of Baton Rouge we were chosen as the family of this year to receive our christmas gifts from a chosen family of the foundation. So we are really excited about that. Im not sure if i just said that right but another family is buying our christmas gifts if thats more understandable. Jaeleah had a birthday also last month, the day after Thanksgiving. She became 8 years old (acts like 18!) We went to the movies and dinner.
God Bless and Have A Wonderful Holiday.

Hello Everyone!!
Im sorry its been awhile since we last wrote in the journal, but so many things happen that i dont get a chance to write like i want to. Well everything is going okay.. We were in the hospital Friday, Oct.14th-17th, 2005 because Jaeleah had fever of 102.9 and she had an infection in both of her ears. This was caused by her already having a cold, this cold had been going on 2 weeks and she was just stuffed up, but she was still going 2 school, I would have never known she had a fever because she was still playing around. When we were at home she didnt have a fever but when we got to the clinic because her ears were hurting her the day before, she ran a fever. I told them (the clinic) they must do something 2 her to make her have a fever. An when you have fever it automatically keeps you in the hospital, so we were not expecting that. But she was still perky in the hospital, she had some LSU students come read her a book, she still called the Child Life Specialist all day to bring her some arts and crafts. The day we went in the hospital we were going to get her fitted for her wig, because her hair fell out again!!! I think this is the third time, they say that happens, but she is still my beautiful princess. We are still looking forward to going to Disney World next month. So pray for us that it goes well, which we know it will. Jaeleah continues to be strong and have faith in the lord. She wants me to tell everyone she loves you and misses you. If she could she would want me to name everyone on here.(ha) God Bless and Take Care, we will be writing soon.... Happy Halloween!

Hello Again Family and Friends,

Yes we made it through Katrina and Rita. We didnt have any problems through Rita, thank god we were blessed. We had heavy wind and rain. Jaeleah is attending school regularly, she missed on day last week due to stomach aches. But she loves school and misses her friends when she doesnt go. She makes me walk her into school every morning, which I dont mind at all because I miss her once she is gone for the day. Im trying to get her in the habit of eating breakfast with the other kids in the morning but I think she is kinda shy ( like my family would say, like me). Well me and Jaeleah have good news, we were picked for the Kidds Kids Foundation to go to Walt Disney World on November 17-21st. We both are very excited because this will be our vacation we missed and also her birthday present (November 25th). Jaeleah is becoming such a big girl everyday it just amazes me and scares me too! I would love to give my love and sympathy to my cousin Viesta on her homegoing of her daughter chelsea who had m.s. Me and Jaeleah love you and we are here for you when you need us. The other day at the clinic Jaeleah was made Queen for the Day, she had on her tiera and makeup. It was a treat for the girls and boys that day to dress up as queens and heroes.

Hello Family and Friends!

We are doing pretty good. We survived Katrina. We were without electricity for about 7 hours on Monday and the phone lines were kinda crazy too, but they still are acting up. Jaeleah is doing just fine, she is bored. She has been missing school since my birthday! (August 19th) Her red blood count has been low ever since and we keep praying they will go up so that she can return to school. She says she is tired of being home with mommy. Which I know is the truth because she wants to learn and play with her friends. We've been doing homework here at home, but she is not behind because school just started back here Monday,Sept 5th. It has not stopped her from doing anything, she is not moaping around too much, she still plays all day. She gets little stomach aches and headaches every now and then. But for the most her health is good. She is still waiting on her trip to Disney World, funny thing is the foundation we were waiting to hear from who is sponsoring the trip office is in New Orleans. So I guess it will kinda be awhile. Jaeleah is trying to take pictures of people and different places we go , so that she can make a scrapbook of her experience. Her hair is growing back so well, as you can see in the school pictures I've taken of her. She's going to be able to wear curls in a little bit as she says. She wants it to hang down her back. She has had some bad back pains lately and little nosebleeds along the way, the doctor said he may have to do a bone marrow test on her to see how the cancer has affected her and how well she is doing. She had a spinal tap procedure done on last week, that went well as to I havent heard anything bad come back. We are still looking for persons to donate blood for her. The information is on the last journal page, which is I think on august 17th. We thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers. We love you all and God Bless.

Wednesday, August 17, 2005 8:49 PM CDT

Well I want to just jump up for joy. My baby is in 2nd Grade this year and she is so excited. We have been doing just fine. Im sorry it has taken me so long to write in our journal. Jaeleah started 2nd Grade on August 15th. Usually I would pick her up from school but today she said, Mom since we dont have to go anywhere after school today can I ride the bus home? So I said well ok, yes. She didnt get home until 5pm. I was horrified, she had actually passed our house once and Jaeleah didnt say anything, so the bus driver said she had 2 others the same. She cried because she thought I was fussing at her, because I told her to speak up next time. I told her it was okay though, long as she made it home safely. Because I had been sitting outside in the heat waiting on her since 3:15pm. She loves to be back at school, she missed her friends. I dont have much to tell. Well my birthday is in 2 days (AUG 19) Yeah!! Jaeleah told me she was going to give me some money and a gift. I told her she didn't have to get me anything, just her kisses and hugs will do just fine. Thats my big girl. I still would like to thank everyone for continuing to pray for me and Jaeleah. We love you all and thank you. Sorry Mr. Cecil ,J had not wrote you back, she told me to tell you she is sorry and watch out soon for her letter. She said she kinda forgot. We love you all. I really dont know what else to write about because its kinda all the same, we still go to the hospital twice or three times a week. Since school has started hopefully we will be writing more and having some wonderful things to talk about. But keep checking back on us and see how we are doing. I would like to thank those persons who have taken time out and donated blood to the blood bank for Jaeleah. We really appreciate you helping us out. We just received a blood transfusion on 8/18/2005, Jaeleah needed blood and platelets. But we just received a card today (8/23/2005) asking for donors to replace the units of blood we used. So if you can give blood ,please do and just say it's for Jaeleah Octavia Hart. Here in Baton Rouge, Our Lady of the Lake Blood Donor Center (225)765-8843 ,Hospital No.02862209-0720

Well Hello Everyone, Sorry it took us so long to write in our Journal. Since the last time I think we've been back in the hospital twice. The first time Jaeleah had an blister on her lip, her blood count was low and she needed a blood transfusion. The second time around which was last thursday, jaeleah had a fever which got to 101.0 and her blood count was beginning to drop and sends us straight into the hospital. She is doing pretty good right now, we are at the end on Reinduction 2, and she had a reaction to the asparaginase shots in her leg on yesterday ,which she had little raised red bumps on her leg but today she is doing fine, a little sluggish because I've been givng her benadryl for the past 24 hours. But the bumps are gone. So we will return to the doctor on tommorrow and follow-up. She has two shots left and she is happy. Her cousin Amyria had her 4year old birthday on saturday and she lived that day through my dad because we were in the hospital and she kept calling my dad and asking him to tell her what everyone was doing, even when everyone sang happy birthday she was listening. It was hilarious! This week was suppose to be the week she goes to camp, but unfortunately she has missed that too because her counts are coming up but not what she needs to be aroung a gang of other kids. School will be starting soon and she is getting excited, shes telling me what all she wants to have. Her little sister Jikaya birthday is sunday and she is hoping to go to her birthday party on saturday. Yesterday on the way home when she got the reaction on her leg and we had to turn back around and go to the doctor, jaeleah said "why me". I said it will get better sweety. She is my little woman. Jaeleah sends her love to her family and friends. Thanks to everyone for continuing to keep us in your prayers as we do the same.

Hello Family and Friends,

Well we have had good and bad days, recently we were put in the hopsital for a week because Jaeleah had a blister on her lip and we didnt know where it came from, her blood count was low, and she needed a blood transfusion. We stayed in the hospital to get medicine thru the IV to clear her lip. She enjoyed her time in the hospital because she loves doing the arts and crafts projects, but she got bored and was ready to go. We were in the hospital June 6th-10th. That Sunday we were suppose to go back to memphis for Reinduction 2, but since we left the hospital her red blood counts have not came up enough for us to go back. We went from 462 to right now as of june 21st we are at 0. So she has been kinda down because she wanted to go to her best friends slumber party on last friday, so her friend cancelled it until jaeleah is better. Her and her friend Le'trece talk on the phone all day, every day. So if you try and call our house and the phone is busy its because of jaeleah. (HA) Them two are something else. She is still looking forward to swimming, we argued today, well not argued , we had a disagreement on holding your nose when you swim. She is always right, let her tell it. Hopefully next month on the 18th-22nd of july , jaeleah will be able to go to camp with other kids who have cancer. Also we are still looking forward to going to Walt Disney World, we both are very excited. I think we will probably end up going in Novemeber, so it will be a good birthday present. Other than her red blood counts being low, everything else has been very well, she is still that cheery, happy go lucky little girl. We still go to the dollar store every other day. It is her favorite store, besides Wal-mart. So to everyone God Bless and keep us in your prayers as we do for you. Love Jaeleah and Crystal.

Jaeleah wants me to tell everyone, she loves you and misses everyone. We are still in Brusly, Louisiana. We are going to Memphis on June 12th for Reinduction 2. She has been wanting me to swim lately, its so hot. But lately its been raining so much i havent gone and get her one yet. She talks about a swimming pool everytime we see one. Last Friday we went to the elementary school and Jaeleah received the Honor Roll Award,I thought that was so sweet that they gave her that, and they were so suprised when we showed up because the only person knew we were coming was the teacher. She received a metal, certificate, and a ribbon. We stayed for a little while after the program to visit with her class, they were so happy to see her. Jaeleah is so happy school is out, just so that she can play with her friend Le'trece. But she is sad because she loves school and cannot wait to return to school. Also we have good news, we talked with the Make A Wish Foundation and hopefully in November we will be able to take a vacation to Walt Disney World. We both were hoping to go in July or August, so that we could have a vacation but they were full. Jaeleah didnt know what to wish for, she told them a house for us and disney. A couple of days later she said mom "you think I can add on to my wish", I said I dont know jaeleah. She said she wish she could have added a shopping spree for the two of us. The lady had put that one on her mind because at the time she was asking her what her wish was jaeleah only said disney, and the lady said thats it, jaeleah was silent. I told her she needs to learn how to speak up and say what she thinks then. But I told her we will call the lady back and ask her.

Lately we have not had any complications and no sickness. Thank you Jesus. She loves going to the store everyday, the lady at the Family Dollar knows her name. People are so shocked when she goes to the store and pays for her own things. We went to the store on yesterday and we were standing, just looking at things and the worker asked does she know what she's looking for, i said no , she just wants to buy something, just spend money. She ended up buying a blue permanent marker. (Ha!)
Well we will be chatting with you all soon. We love you all and thank you for keeping us in your prayers as we do the same. God Bless.

Hello, Sorry it has been awhile since Jaeleah and I have wrote anything in her journal. We’ve been back and forth to the hospital for appointments. She has had a spinal tap and an MRI. Both have been successful as we know of. She had a spell of being nauseated and vomiting on last week . We went to the hospital and they ended up giving her fluids and zophran (nausea medicine). On the weekend of mother’s day we traveled to Clinton, La, for the Dream Day Foundation for it’s annual Fishing Galore. We had plenty of fun, it was extremely hot that day. The children were spoiled with gifts and there own fishing poles and gear. Jaeleah reeled in a fish , and even held it in her hand. She had lots of fun fishing, she wants to go back. We are looking forward to next year, we will be well prepared next year. Jaeleah also went to church on Mother’s Day, it had been awhile since she had gone but she went. She was mad for part of church because I made her put her mask on and she felt shame face. She also has been spending time playing with her best friend Le’trece. She enjoys spending time with her, they ride their bikes together. Her friend Le’trece is trying to get her to attend their Fun Day at school on Friday of this week (20th). But we will have to see about that. Her blood count has gone up lately to about 1300, so that’s good but we still kind of watch things. I’m scared for her to catch an infection because I know that means a hospital stay. We’ve had scares, such as her trying to catch a fever and her being dehydrated. So we just kind of watch things. Live on a day to day basis. Jaeleah has also been worrying me about a pool, she wants to go swimming, like she says its hot mamma, I can swim when its hot. I told her soon I will get her a swimming pool. She recently took a math and reading test with her homebound teacher and did really well. This was an end of the school year test. On her math test the teacher said she had about 50 questions, and she missed 2. And on her reading test she did extremely well, I think she missed 2 words on that also. But she says she sees no reason for her not to pass to the second grade. Thank God. We are still waiting to hear from the Make a Wish Foundation to call because Jaeleah cannot wait to go to Walt Disney World, hopefully this summer the both of us can take a trip there, it will be our vacation . We had a lovely mothers day, I received a card from Jaeleah with a book mark and a lottery ticket in it. It made me laugh, j said it was so we win and build us a house. She is something else, her and Uncle Mervin race each other riding bikes, he said he was going to take her riding across the tracks early one morning. ( I just laughed and said okay). We went to a fair today and got soaking wet because it started raining, but amyria and jaeleah had a good time. They both received fishes and stuffed animals.
Once again as always, I thank everyone for their prayers and continuing to read and sign our webpage. Thank you and God Bless you all.

Hello Once Again to our Family and Friends,

Jaeleah and I are doing just fine. We are in week 10 of 120 in Jaeleah’s treatment. The past week was kind of up and down. We had her last day of L-asparagines today. (That is for now). Her white blood count has been very low lately and at high risk for infection and fever. Tuesday at our doctors appointment she began to run a fever but by the night time she was back to normal. Also her chest and ankle had been hurting her, probably because of the incrusting medicine she has been taking. Her hair is beginning to fall out again. But she’s still okay with that, she can’t wait until it all grows back and stays. We also had to receive platelets last Saturday because they were low. She did awesome with that also, no side effects, which was good. She has been taking dexamethasene lately and has her moody, cranky, and with a big appetite. She’s been eating sloppy joes, Cajun rice, pizza, chicken, turkey necks and rice.

Soon Jaeleah will have another of many Bone Marrow aspiration biopsy (May 9, 2005) Please Pray Everything goes well.

Today Sunday April 24,2005, Jaeleah’s back has been hurting her, still very moody. The doctor gave me some potassium pills that I could have let her try taking while on the steroids but they were like horse pills and I said I would try and deal with the mood swings. But next time I think I’m going to try them and see how it changes her attitude. They say it kind of calms the attitude down.

We are also planning on going fishing at the Dream Day Foundations Fishin’ Galore in Clinton , La for a day of fun fishing, playing games and food. Also her dance class are having there annual recital on May 7th , which she is invited to attend.

Jaeleah can’t wait to return back to school, every time we pass by she just looks and pouts. I just keep telling her real soon she will be able to go back.

God Bless and We Love You!!

As of Today 4/15/05 We are back home in Louisiana. We were in Memphis last week for ReInduction 1. April 4th thru April 8th. Everything went very well in Memphis, jaeleah had to receive a lumbar puncture/spinal tap. She took everything well, she had to have an MRI on the last day we were leaving, she also had a shot in her thigh muscle, which she will be getting for the next week or so. She does very good, everyone says she does better than the grown kids do. She doesn’t blink or anything. We made it home Friday night around 8:30pm safely. From the time we got to Memphis jaeleah was asking for crawfish. A kind man on the way home (on our flight) gave her $20 to get her some crawfish when she got home, and she did. That Sunday we had an 10pm appointment at the hospital in Baton Rouge to get another shot in her thigh muscle, she still did good. We stayed there maybe 2 and a half hours. Jaeleah thought we were going to have to stay overnight but thank god we didn’t but if we had to we would have made the best of it.

Tuesday April 12th , we were at our usual hospital appt. and everyone was concerned about our trip that night back to Memphis for an x-ray of her back. Everyone thought we were going to take the long trip by ourselves, but luckily we had help from my friend Zuriel who helped me drive. It was a long boring ride, but we got there on time and even had time to take a nap before the appointment. We were scheduled for 9:30 am and were out by 11:15am. The Ortho doctor said that everything looked pretty much the same but she could go without wearing her back brace( which she didn’t wear) . They said her bones were still a little fractured or not together but it would heal within time, but be careful. We made it home Wednesday night around 8:20pm. Jaeleah was still looking for crawfish when we made it home.

But as of today, Jaeleahs white blood count is low and her platelets are low, which she can bruise easily, get nosebleeds, have fever, and at high risk for infections. So if you live near please limit visitations until treatment is up in two weeks. Not complete treatment but this phase of her treatment, when her counts go up higher. Thank You.
Before we left Memphis last Friday I spoke with our social worker who let me sign her referral sheet for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Which me and Jaeleah are very excited about because she can name one hundred and one things she would wish for. As we speak she is telling me what to write, she wishes for a trip to Walt Disney World( she wishes to take all her friends and family), she wishes for a ten bedroom house for me and her. (Including a pool, trampoline, music room, art room, camping room, etc….. She has a very wild imagination.

Jaeleah is still doing what she loves to do, ride her bike. She goes outside sometimes but not all the time, Mom doesn’t like her smelling the chickens and dogs next door (HA!) She misses her friend Le’trece and all of her friends at school . She cannot wait to go back to school. She also misses her little sister Jikaya a lot. She got her a present from the hospital the other day, she says its her birthday gift . But its kind of wrapped in Easter decorations, so its whatever jaeleah wants, hopefully she gets it soon.

Once again I would like to Thank Everyone for continuing to check out jaeleah’s web page. She enjoys reading the new entries and seeing who is writing what. She says she loves everyone and god bless. We Love You Friends and Family.

Well as of Today 4/7/05, We are doing just fine. We returned to Memphis on Monday at 7:30am.We were scheduled for procedures that morning but we were not able to do that because jaeleah ate pretzels, and she needed to be npo before 12am. So she had her procedure done the next day and everything went okay, she was kinda nauseated earlier that day but she got better as the day went on. She also received 3 other different medicines, including a shot in her right thigh muscle, which for the next 2weeks she will get one every other day. Today we had a free day(Thursday). We went over to the hospital to get lunch and ended up staying for 2 hours. She stopped by her teachers room and stayed to play games and color while i went got us something to eat and also got news that we could go home on friday. We have to meet with the doctor in baton rouge on sunday so that she can get another shot in her thigh. Tommorrow she is scheduled to have an MRI of the brain, and get another shot in her thigh muscle. We leave for baton rouge at 7pm.

Jaeleah cant wait to get home so she can eat some crawfish. She has been craving for it for a couple of weeks. We talked with the nurse today and she said we have to wait and see what her ANC level is tommorrow. She has been in very good spirits, jae loves to play games, and watch movies. She misses her best friend Le'trece. Jaeleah also misses her school, she drew a picture for them the other day while we were waiting at the hospital. Jaeleah also misses her baby sister Jikaya very much, she brought her a present for her birthday in July.

Jaeleah is a very strong girl and her mother is so very proud of her in everything she does. I love her so very much. She is the apple in my eye. She sometimes runs me crazy but i still love her so very much. She wants for everything and gets upset when she doesnt get things when she wants it. So i just try to teach her better and let her know she cant get everything she wants. Now she is so sensitive from words that anything said hurtfully or in the wrong way, she cries or gets upset.

Once more i would like to thank my cousin, my sister, my bestfriend Jene for everything, without you I wouldnt know what i would do. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

To shay girl u know I love you sis. I dont even have to tell you that. Its like your my long lost sister.
To leon thanks for everything, we love you too.

Now last but not least To Jaeleahs Dad (Joseph Hart Jr.), well this has been a journey. We have a beautiful daughter who loves us both no matter what. But u know what I may get mad at somethings but never will i stop speaking with u and threaten u, everyone has there own opinion. Yes I think everything lately has been so dumb and very crazy. You have seperated yourself from us because of your opinions and your feelings. Never once thinking about how it makes us feel. Im not apologizing for anything because I havent done anything wrong. But when you are willing to talk and aplogize we are here.

To my family and friends,Thank you all and We Love You very much. I thank everyone for continuing to check out Princess Jaeleah Hart's Web Page. Thank You and God Bless.

Well I had written something last week but somekinda way I erased it. So I guess I will try and write something else.

Well me and Jaeleah are doing fine. We are preparing ourselves to go back to memphis on April 4th thru the 8th for reinduction. We hope that we do not have to spend the whole three weeks in memphis. We hope to come home for the remainder two weeks of treatment.

Jaeleah is doing really well, she has been taking her treatment good. We havent had any major problems, thank god. Her hair is beginning to grow back, she is still beautiful.

Jaeleah loves to play with her friend Letrece, she loves riding her bike(she just started riding it again, since she had fell off) She loves eating dirty rice, chicken, crawfish(which she cant eat but really wants to). Since she is taking steroids, she is eating more but hasn't really picked up any weight.

As for me, well Im doing good. I just try to keep my self in good spirits.Jaeleah is doing home schooling which she enjoys but would rather be in school with her friends. Jaeleah loves going to the movies, which we try to do on a regular basis. To get out of the house every now and then , but sometimes she gets agitated because she is ready to go home.

I thank everyone for checking out jaeleah's web page.We love you all and thank everyone for all that you do. Thank you for your prayers and support.
