Journal entry by Maureen Russell

Alyson had her 4 week check up this week and got wonderful news: she is able to take the brace off now!  The fracture remains (could take up to a year to fully heal), but it is stable!  Her neck is sore and weak and needs to rebuild the muscles, so she will begin physical therapy now.  But she is so thankful for forward movement and feels alive and fresh and ready for what God has for her.  As soon as she gets her range of motion back, she will be able to drive again.

Jeff is dealing with a cracked tooth that they discovered recently from the accident, so he is needing to proceed with an oral surgeon to get it removed.

He also received a recommendation from his doctor to have another surgery to get  the plate in his shoulder removed. This is tough news as he has no desire to go through another surgery.  So prayers for wisdom for him as he decides what to do.

They are so thankful for all of you who have prayed, helped, brought food, given money, and all the other countless ways that you have blessed them!

Feel free to reach out to them directly now if you wish to contact them.
