Welcome to Zoe’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportZoe had a really positive weekend, she rode back to grandma and grandpas farm with Kelly and got to see lots of family. She was able to help in the garden, play with the dogs, discover a new talent playing clay flute, and breathe loads of fresh air.
Today would have been a "little" chemo session, but as part of the normal schedule, they build in some rest weeks or breaks. We still go into the clinic to have her bloodwork checked and meet with our care team, but the next two weeks are a break from Monday chemo!
This week she will have a CT to measure her head for radiation which will begin the first week of June down at Mayo. The whole family is a little apprehensive about starting that, but we are planning for the best and hoping things go smoothly. Some nights Zoe will stay over for "big" chemo and other days she will drive there and back with mom or dad. One week the girls are staying at a VRBO farmhouse to break up the daily drive. We will see how manageable things are after the first couple of weeks.
Only a few more weeks till summer break for school; Zoe is hoping to find a few final days that she can attend school to finish out the year if her bloodwork is still stable. We hope everyone has a beautiful week!
