Journal entry by Angie Abercrombie —
The journey has started, Zariah was at Cooks yesterday with her mom and dad. Dad is able to be her donor, Praise God! My son Zack, Zariah's dad has to go through a series of injections getting his bone marrow ready for transplant into his daughter. Zariah wound up running a fever so she was admitted and given more platelets. She will be spending another night tonight. My son is looking for a place to stay as we are having to wait for back ground checks from the Ronald McDonald house. This was not supposed to take place till next week.
With her journey to a cure we will he traveling back and forth from Lubbock to Ft worth for the next 4 to 6 months. She will have to be in complete isolation after chemo and BMT. God bless
