Zade’s Story

Site created on January 22, 2020

As most know it's been a long journey from 2009 until now for Zade fighting kidney disease. We're here at transplant time and it's bitter sweet. It's the time we've all been waiting for, however it's become a little rough along the way. We created this so we can all keep up together. All continued prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone for all your support.

Sorry we just kind of dropped the ball on Zades recovery but life has been very busy. Zade is doing wonderful. He goes every 8 weeks for 2 hr infusion at Cooks and then a monthly trip to see the Drs. He will have to home school in Iowa park for at least the first semester. He is going to be working on getting his learners permit very soon. ( Hes already a very good driver) so it should be a cinch for him.  Misty moved to Missouri at the end of July to be with Michael who has opened a tattoo shop with his brother and they are in the process of building a "tiny house".  Zade was given the option of going,  but chose to stay in Iowa park until graduation. We hope to make trips several times a year and he's a sophomore this year so he'll be graduating before we know it.  He is living with Mistys parents and will spend time with me  to give Don & Bonnie a break from the teenager!! We will try and do better at posting updates from time to time.
