Good morning everyone. Going on day two with zacks new trach tube and let me say I missed seeing more of that face. He is fully off the ventilator now breathing on his own and spo2 levels are at a solid 96-100% which is what we love to see!! He’s in a new bed which is almost like a massage chair to kinda beat up some of the secretions that are all in his lungs and he’s coughing it up which is nasty, but good. Some got on my hand yesterday and I almost lost it haha. But all that aside he looks much more peaceful and calm, and hopefully we will get our peg tube soon so we can see his whole face again!! Again I thank you for all of the continued support and prayers on this journey. We are just past 1 week of all of this and it doesn’t get easier but with hope and prayers we know our guy will wake up.
