I am very happy to say this will be our last journal entry.
Zach returned to school today and is also participating again in Viking Magic (his basketball skills team). As his strength increases and his skin continues to heal, he should be cleared for even more sports and soon he will be playing basketball with his classmates and playing baseball with his friends. He is an amazing boy and has come through this painful journey like a champ. He has exceeded his Dr's expectations at every level and I think that speaks volumes to Zach's internal strength, drive and determination. It also speaks volumes to the amazing support you have offered him!
We thank god every day for Zach's health and we again thank you for every second you spent showing your love & concern to him. Without a doubt, we are blessed to have your kindness and support. Finally, we are thankful for CaringBridge and this journal. An efficient avenue of communication that helped keep Zach's updates manageable... We pray we never ever need to use it again!
