Hello Family and Friends,
I'm attaching the information that will be in the St. Paul Pioneer Press Sunday newspaper with Mom's obituary and memorial service details.

OBITUARY FOR YVONNE MARIE FRANZMEIER MOMSEN

Momsen (nee: Franzmeier), Yvonne Marie, born August 29, 1929 died February 6, 2019 from aggressive Triple-negative breast cancer that was diagnosed in mid-January. Preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Louis Franzmeier, brother Wesley, son-in-law Michael Brill, and daughter-in-law Maureen Momsen. Survived by her loving husband of 70 plus years, Bob, and her children Bill, Beverly and Bob Brocklehurst, Brad, Bonnie Momsen Brill, Brian and Janell Momsen, sister Kayrn and Donald Pederson, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

Yvonne graduated from Central High School in 1947 and attended Macalester College. She married the love of her life, Bob, on September 11, 1948. They recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary.

Yvonne is known in St. Paul for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Her friends and family know her to be a talented pianist, gourmet cook, smart woman, and generous volunteer, who contributed her time and energy to many charities and organizations. She enjoyed dancing with Bob and listening to music. Her children would marvel at her memory and the fact that she remembered their friends’ names and childhood events far longer than her children could. Yvonne and Bob loved being involved in the St. Paul Winter Carnival for many decades.

Yvonne had many volunteer leadership roles in organizations and on boards that included The St Paul Chamber Orchestra, JC Wives, Friends of the SPCO, Children Hospital Association, and Thursday Club. She organized her high school class reunions for many years and recently organized the 70th Reunion for Central High Class of 1947.

The memorial service for Yvonne will take place on Monday, February 11, 2019, with visitation at 10:00 AM and the service at 11:00, at St Paul’s United Methodist Church, 700 Wesley Lane, Mendota Heights, with lunch following. Memorials preferred to The SPCO, Children Hospital, Mayo Foundation, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church or donor’s choice.

Let's hope the snow and cold weather gives us a break for gathering to celebrate mom's life next Monday Feb 11!

With thanks and gratitude for your friendship and love for Yvonne/mom,
Bob, Bill, Bev, Brad, Bonnie, Brian and extended family
