Journal entry by karen chrudimsky

What a bittersweet morning. A morning of firsts and lasts. Adam Chrudimsky's dad Yogi has been quite sick the last few days, but, we knew that he would have wanted us to be there for Adalynn's first day of school.
.
.
On the way to Adalynn's first day of Kindergarten, Adalynn and Audrey recorded a cute voice memo telling Yogi and Karen all about the first day of school. About her school, her teacher, what she was wearing, her unicorn backpack. With Audrey's candor in the background. She told them she loves them and blew a kiss on it. We sent the recording over to Yogi and they had him listen to it at about 8:15am.
.
.
By 9:15am, we lost their "Grandpa Chicken Legs", Yogi to this world. I won't know this until I see him again, but, I think he might have been waiting to hear from the girls...the man loved them to the moon.
.
.
Yogi Chrudimsky was an absolute force. There is no other Yog. There are people I know that only met him once and haven't seen him in 10 years, and still remember him vividly and fondly. He was that kind of person. He was willing to do anything for anyone, he raised wonderful children, took care of Karen in her time of need, and was a phenomenal Grandpa. Not to mention that he was funny as hell and just absolutely ridiculous. Always full of inappropriate sayings that I'll never forget. Living life at full f*cking throttle 130% of the time. ❤️ We will miss him so so much, and keep him alive in our hearts and in the hearts of the girls.
.
Yogi’s obituary is posted on Facebook & in Antigo Daily & Antigo Shopper.  He fought as hard as he possibly could but left us peacefully with a single teardrop & it is then that we knew GOD wrapped him in his arms & freed him from worries, pain, work, suffering & made him whole again! Unfortunately, he will be missed by SO many & glad we were there to hold his hands in ours—— Karen.   Our LOVE story will continue when we all meet again.💙💖💙💖💙💙💗💙💕💕
