❤️❤️❤️ From Katie: His last day of medication is September 7, so September 8 will be his first day with no medications!! I asked a lot of questions- one being what red flags they watch for with his monthly visits and bloodwork. They said mainly platelet count, and the lymphocyte count. He will be on the antibiotic twice a day Saturdays and Sundays until his counts come back… which means they don’t know how long that will take since every kid is different. But, monthly appts, and for now if he gets fevers while his counts are still low they still want to know about it but likely we won’t need to go to the hospital! He was soooo shy when the doctors and nurses were cheering for him! But I was a puddle the whole time, this is such a big big celebratory day. 💗
