This is our 57th Anniversary. We always went to Red Lobster then drive around looking at the Christmas Lights. This year is so different, she is in Heaven. She went to our Heavenly Home on September 3rd this year. It doesn't take much to bring the tears, but I am so glad her sickness and suffering is over with and she now has Perfect Health. I am a very fortunate man in that I have a Great Support Team in my Family and Friends. I bought the book, Widower to Widower to see if I was doing, what the book may suggest. It was there I learned about Caring Bridge. I so wish Linda and I had know about this during her long battle with first 2 major back surgeries then to be hit with Breast Cancer and having fought battle with that and declared cancer free; she was stricken with Blood Cancer which was what finally took her life. Knowing her for 63 years, yes I met her when she was 11 and I was 15, I am positive she would have loved being able to be on Caring Bridge. I hope I can be a catalyst for getting many patients and their families acquainted with Caring Bridge as I am convinced it would have been a great help to us both. Learning it as you go is not the best way, I think. The tears still come whenever I think or talk about her. I know our family and friends will tell you what a great special Christian Lady she is. Well, I think that is enough of an introduction, si I am going on to the next step.
