So - Status:

I have completed my 12 weeks of chemo.

It didn’t go smoothly.

As a matter of fact they skipped my last dose as my platelets were too low on the scheduled date.

In any case, 12 days after my last chemo (Tuesday 2/20) I had blood drawn and my platelets and hemoglobin were below the minimum. I spent two days in the hospital getting close to 2 units of blood.

Now I’m home now. Feeling much better. Next blood draw is Tuesday 2/27. We’re hoping for better numbers.
