Welcome to William Bill’s CaringBridge Site

It reminds us of the complex journey we've been on since experiencing ambiguous grief and the loss of Bill, one of the toughest challenges we faced last year. In order to navigate the ebb and flow of our sorrow, our family has embraced a tradition on remembrance day—a time when we come together to share sweet memories or new stories with the intention of bringing a smile to our faces. I hope that you, too, will share a memory with us!
One cherished moment involving Bill and the boys stands out in my mind—their visit to see our girls perform at a national dance competition in Knoxville, TN. With all three girls participating in a total of 35 dances and our production numbers that year being nothing short of incredible, it was an exhilarating experience. Bill had never been to a dance competition before, and he wasn't quite sure if the boys would be interested. The convention center, with its bright lights and 500 boisterous dancing girls, turned out to be quite different from what they had anticipated. As a result, we decided to leave the girls behind and have lunch next door to the convention center.
The girls, dressed head to toe in Barbie costumes, weren't able to join us in public at the restaurant, so I entrusted them to my best friend, who remained with them at the convention center.
This particular visit marked the first time I had seen the boys in a long while, and I was filled with anticipation. Looking back, I am reminded of how incredible Bill was at being there for me whenever he could. I can still hear his voice saying, "we should take any chance we have to share a hug." Bill, your memory will forever stay etched in my heart. You brought immense joy and love into our lives. I envision you now running marathons in the grand stadiums of heaven. We miss you each day, and your memory will forever remain close to our hearts.
