Hi Friends & Fam!
Apologies for the radio silence on our end, as it turns out life with twins and a 3.5 year old is busy and when your sister goes to Seattle for work for a week that 3 hour time zone makes writing updates a wee bit more difficult!
Alas! We have great news!
Remi has been moved from the NICU to the Cardiac Care floor at CHOA. This is the exact development we were hoping for because it means Remi has recovered exceptionally well from his surgery and no longer needs the extensive care of the NICU.
He has also decided he no longer needs oxygen support (by continuously pulling his Oxygen out) so aside from his NG tube our fiercest baby is tube free!
Brittany, Janzie and Beckett are spending the week in Atlanta with Remi and it is our hope he will be discharged in the next week or so!
Please continue to pray Remi will tolerate the reduction in his feeding schedule from continuous feeding to one feed every three hours (a natural feeding schedule for newborns).
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like West's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
