Weston’s Story

Site created on October 31, 2020

We appreciate everyone's support through the journey we are on with getting Weston's seizures under control... it has been touching, and a little overwhelming.  In order to keep everyone in the loop of what is happening, and in order to give the family a little peace so they can support Weston in his healing, we will be using this site to keep everyone up to date.  Stay tuned for updates.

This certainly never gets easier… we cannot thank you all for your love support and prayers! We truly feel all of you! You make it possible to put one foot in front of the other🥰 Jack has been struggling with heading to school without Weston! He’s never been to kindergarten without his big brother walking him into school. And because he’s never attended a full week of school (due to remote learning/ snow days). Kinder is still very new to him, even though, it’s almost March! Weston’s class has an amazing group of boys, who love on Jack, like their own lil bro. Niko adopted the big bro role for the week. And has rocked it getting Jack into school...(this is not always an easy feat for are feisty, loveable, red-head that sometimes thinks being home seems like the better option;) We are blessed with the absolute best school family💕 Jacks teacher has rocked it at providing things for him to look forward too. And she 💯 eases my mama mind. All of the school staff is truly a blessing to us. We are so lucky  and feel incredibly grateful that the boys are in such amazing hands at school.
Jack has a zillion emotions about Wes. He holds a lot of emotional weight for his brother. This hx stay has brought back a lot of emotions for all of us. Jack needed to know that he is also beyond brave and he is a super hero too!! It’s not easy balancing your parents. And we wouldn’t be able to help Wes like we do w/o his strength! Jack seemed a little lighter understanding that we think he is just as brave 💕 🦸‍♂️
Wes is hanging in there. The nights are brutal with no sleep and sickness. We cannot unwrap from this gorgeous, soft, “I am with you” pray shawl! It truly feels like an amazing hug! Thank you Molly Kapalis   🥰🥰
